Are you kidding me? Lets look where that quote comes from. It's posted on The Sporting News, which quotes the source of the link right back here to Boxingscene.......lol
When? And, where did you hear that at? Cuz I am leaning towards Taylor.
nah, I didn't really hear that about Jermain. I'm just making fun of his stamina problems.
But seriously: Jermain has been seriously hurt by every puncher he has faced. Abraham, by contrast, fought a beast in Miranda while having a broken jaw.
I could care less what he makes honestly! But if he elects to take another fight because of money I have no problem with that! when he faced brussels, corley no one would give him a damn fight! he was calling out everyone and was chasing after kosta but it never happened so he moved up to mitchell for his first fight at ww. Judah at the time was one of the best in the ww when they fought and baldy was the champ so bite me!! where was cotto then? oh yeah arum wouldn't let him fight pbf because he was too green!!! mosley was fighting tw classes above at the time and pwill was fighting turds at the time!! he has always faced the best opposition up until now!!! so what he toook a tuneup fight against jmm.... get over yourself dude seriously!
Should I take you serious? Ok, I will try. Lets look at history. Vivian Harris was the WBA champ for how long calling Floyd out? And when he got on the podium and stated he had to defend his title overseas AFTER calling him Gayweather, Floyds excuse was "I've never even seen you fight". So basically you are saying because KT elected to fight Ricky Hatton instead, Floyd had no other options at 140? And when he jumped up to 147, Collazo was undefeated, Quintana was undefeated, Margarito was stalking him, PW was undefeated, he chose Mitchell, who was shot, Judah who was coming off a loss, and Baldomir? Are you telling me that at 140 and 147 Mayweather has faced the BEST available opposition? lmaooooooooooooooooo HYSTERICAL
According to Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. should be the one to get the bulk of the money in a potential fight with Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto or whoever else. Schaefer told BoxingScene.com’s Bill Emes that Mayweather showed his ability to generate money with the recent pay-per-view buyrate of 1 million homes for his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez in September [details]
The only way Cotto or Pac will make more than $5 million in their next fight is if they fight Mayweather.
That is not true. IF Pac beats Cotto. Pac would get more than 5mil fighting a third fight with JMM. And, if Pac chooses to fight Shane he would get more than 10mil, I think Pac could get over 5mil fighting Margarito. Now I am not saying that Pac would be willing to fight them. But, to say that Pac can not make more than 5mil without Floyd is not true.
Mayweather can demand a 60/40 split from Pac; it may be rejected, and he will end up fighting Mosley for $15 million!
Now this is very true. If Floyd decides to fight P-Will he could get like 10mil, If Floyd is truly the the biggest draw and PPV king and on Oscar level. He could get over 8mil fighting whoever.
I just don't understand when us as boxing fans start caring more about PPV sales and who makes what more than the fight itself.
I honestly could not tell you much PPV Tito sold with Winky, or Vargas, or Hopkins, or Mayorga, or Jones, Or how much money he got or what was the split. I didn't care. I just cared that my favorite fighter was fighting the best and daring to be great.
I dont know when the change happened of fans not caring about the best fights possible and instead caring more about the split and PPV sales, and how money a fighter.

This is my point. ONLY Mayweather fans start bringing up PPV revenue and who gets the most money as a indicator of who Floyd fights. They NEVER make that argument when it comes to other fighters. Nobody really gives a **** what PW or Kelly Pavlik is making for their fight. We just want to see them fight. Why more Mayweather fans aren't DEMANDING to see a more competitive fight in him versus Shane as opposed to an obvious BLOWOUT of Manny Pacquiao is beyond me.

C'mon, son.
First of all I am not your son, secong I thought there was a lot of homecooking in favor of AA when he had that broken jaw. However AA, erased all doubts in the rematch. But, Miranda might be the best fighter AA has ever faced. And, I think you could easily say Jermain is the best fighter he has faced. And, I think the styles favors Jermain.
