Not a good performance from Ball. Rios is a washed fighter who doesn't belong at this weight.

Credit to Rios for being tougher then a 2 dollar steak, I've never seen a fighter crawl back under the ropes and get up

Ball had a tougher time than I thought he would have with Rios. I am impressed that he was able to keep up a good work rate with a busted nose.

Surprised that Rios did better than expected, but Nick Ball's physicality was just too much.

Would like to him weave more and work the body, but at least he uses a jab unlike Pitbull.

Ball is a wrecking ball but he has some things that he really should improve...Like BODY PUNCHING...Not winging shots from too far away...Not shooting everything with power. Ball had to fight in spurts later in the fight because he wasted so much energy trying to stop Rios earlier in the fight.

He also swarms a lot with wild punches and lands on the gloves a lot, but when he stuns someone with something clean, he has no follow through. It's frustrating. It happened with Rios twice tonight.

                  True!

I really like Ball and his fighting style but man I was frustrated watching. Brutal and exciting fight though. I just hope Ball cleans up some loose ends with his game plan and approach in the ring. His style doesn't age well. I really hope he does well because I really like his fighter's mentality.

If he still has a belt when Inoue gets to featherweight he's going to get destroyed.

I suspect so too, unless Inoue doesn't carry his power and speed when he moves up.
