  • Why is Crawford ignoring Fundora?

We haven't heard a peep from him about WBO ordering him to fight Fundora.

Wasn't there a NSB article about him enforcing his mandatory status on the Tszyu vs Fundora winner? How come he's ignoring his own petition now?

WBO orders Terence Crawford to face Sebastian Fundora

Haven't seen him doing anything about it other than talk. Haven't heard any report he's contacting Canelo's team, which includes PBC.

u have to be careful of how u approach canelo, if he doesnt like it then u risk being alienated for eternity, be disrespectful & expect disdain and ridicule, politely let it be known u are interested in a fight with him

That's true, so what needs to be done here? What are the mechanics of making the Canelo/Crawford fight happen?

Is Crawford expected to do the same stunt as Jermall, wait forever till he gets it, don't take any other fight while waiting? What if the fight never happens? TBud fought last August 3. Then we have September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May.... That's a lot of waiting to do. His rampant inactivity will become the main focus again I'm afraid. Fans would wonder why he can't take any interim fight while waiting.

Crawford has became a once a year fighter since 2020, besides the BLK prime fight & Spence fight being within 6 months

I don’t think he cares about waiting

Crawford enjoys roaming around all over the place more than being in the ring now. He's loving the idea of fighting once a year. Five years fighting only once every year, it's hard to break that cycle. To him he has done it all and don't have to fight anybody.

BUT some fans are incessant asking him about Boots. And so he has to come up with something, anything to drive them away. The first replies he made was the Spence rematch even when it became clear it's not going to happen. Everyone remembers this.

The Canelo fight never crossed his mind at first. Joe Rogan was the first to ask him about Canelo and Bud had a lump in his throat answering the question.

Then later he found out that some fans actually want to see him dismantle the Mexican, do the same thing he did with Spence. And so he realized, "That's it! Perfect excuse to stop these people from asking me about Ennis." But he knew it's not going to happen anytime soon. He probably believes it's just a fantasy because there's just tons of things to consider like weight, money demands, politics, etc.

So then he had to bide time and had to come up with something temporary like the Tszyu vs Fundora winner, which he had no intention of fighting either as already proven by ignoring the WBO order.

Apparently Spence might be fighting Fundora in Jan...I'd love to see him win and then face Bud in a unification bout @ 154lbs just to settle the 'weight issues' once and for all!

Bud wants that Canelo fight way more than 3 time undisputed. That 3x undisputed shish was a smoke screen. He couldn't care less about that, he wants that guaranteed Canelo payday. I can't blame him but I also ain't paying for a circus fight that won't be competitive

He probably expect the fight to be offered to him on a silver platter without doing anything. He didn't even attend Alvarez's last fight. Should have climb up in the ring and call the Mexican fighter out in his face. It's obvious he's relying heavily on Turki to make it happen. I don't think he would talk to PBC people, whom Canelo is dealing with now for his fights.
