GOOD SHYTE FELLAS!
He only avoided many times Morell...Didn't he?

David was always confident he would beat Morrell but there just wasn't any money in it. If Morrell isn't the strongest guy in the ring he has problems and I honestly can't see him beating Benavidez, Bivol, Beterbeiv or Oleksandr Gvozdyk. If the fight happens, David will break Morrell down and knock him out. Afterward, people was say that Morrell was over rated but if that was true Morrell would have been on Canelo's short list.

Maybe. David didn’t look like his moniker, the “Monster”, in his 175 lb debut. Both men won their first fight at their new weight comfortably, but didn’t look dominant. I’d tend to agree that Benavidez should be the favorite going in, but Morrell is serious business. If Benny didn’t KO his last opponent, I don’t see why you should be so confident he’ll lay David out. In any event, I’d love to see the match-up. We all would.

Benavidez is breaking the current philosophy of fighters such as Canelo and Davis to fight the best guys in their prime and sacrificing the O on his record. Both guys could lose this fight and this is what brings intrigue back into boxing. I hope this fight gets made and catches on with other fighters who are avoiding the top guys in their division.

I applaud Benavidez for taking a step in the right direction. Nobody wanted to see him beat up on an over-matched Jesse Hart. No. One.

Both guys have 12 rounds in the bank at 175. Both guys carry high risk for one another. Both guys are lethal (ish at 175). I personally thought Morrell looked better as he didn't seem to gas like Benny; his opposition wasn't as strong on paper, but I think Kalajdzic made Morrell work far more than Gvozdyk made Benavidez work, so... 50/50 fight that we NEED!

If Morrell accepts in this fight we shall see if he is the real deal or not.

I probably talk crap about Benavidez more than anybody on here, specifically about weight and age bullying. But if this fight gets made I will give Benavidez his due credit. If he wins, he’ll have a new fan in me. And Im not one of those people who will say “he saw Morrell didn’t look as strong at 175” because in all honesty DB didn’t either so it’s a leveled playing field. This will be the first 50/50 or close to 50/50 fight in DB career. Canelo haters on here were actually saying Jesse Hart was a better fight than Morrell which is NONSENSE. This is the fight. I hope it gets made.

If Morrell accepts, then Kudos to both guys! I bet they both look sharper than their last fights, it often works out that way. I don't see this being one-sided.
