I'll be shocked if this fight happens. Benavidez has seen a crack in Morrell's armor, I don't think Morrell is ready to risk having a loss on his record, this early in his career.

But this would be a very intriguing fight!

TBH it goes both ways. DB didn’t look like a monster at 175 and showed stamina issues vs Gvozdyk so it’s fair game.

Based on the eyeball test these guys are meant for a trilogy series. I always figured morrell & benavidez first fight would've been @ 168 morrell win then later on 2 & 3 would've been @ 175 more benavidez territory he walks @ 215-220 so 168 was just a weight drain. Cong**** on this fight it's better than anything canelo couldve decided that wasn't them nor beterbiev bivol winner.

Sounds like a fake story. I woke up this morning and saw the news on two different boxing sites and then a few minutes later read updates that Benavidez is fighting Jesse Hart.
Why would they manufacture this BS and then 12 hours later make a different announcement? Surely Morrell did not reject the fight in 12 hours and then they found a new opponent and negotiated a deal.
