Funny, Joyce has stoppage wins against Parker and Dubois

But his career is pretty much over since he lost to Zhang twice and than to shot Chisora.

Dubois was dropped against Lerena like 3 times. Lost to Joyce and Usyk. Than he beat Miller, Hrgovic and Joshua.

Parker got knocked out by Joyce. Than he beat Wilder and Zhang.

Kabayel was rocked by Smakici big time. Than he beat Makhmudov and Sanchez.

Seems so me we have a circle of about 10 guys that all can beat each other. Just some are better or worse fights for each other.

I feel Dubois would lose to Parker, Kabayel or Bakole.

Should be your hint that they're all pretty bad.

If ddd has to fight so many good guys one after other he could lose for sure.
Id be reluctant to make him underdog now though

When you are right, your right... I personally would not characterize as "bad" however there is this rush to judgement where people are comparing Dubois to excellence... These guys are contenders that have had success, parker, Dubois, Bakole, they are above the prospects coming up behind like Torrez, Ituama, etc.

I believe that Joshua fans, those that are insane, not the sane fans, want to present Dubois as excellent so Josh can have lost to a real killer!

I think some insecure US boxing fans struggle with not having anyone to compete at the top table of heavyweight boxing so they have to attack the whole division or hark back to how good it was decades ago (when just coincidentally US had more boxers competing at the top ).

this is usually what happens when top guys fight each other. boxing fans are used to a bunch of patsy fights like wilders title run. when the top guys mix with each other, they lose fights. thats why the greats like ali are great, they not only fought the best over and over, they won most of them.guys like dubois and parker are good fighters they just win some and lose some.

Jake you have imo come to a proper conclusion. While we have those who would tell us how much better one guy is than another, fights have to be made... Bakole looks invincible at the present... Tomorrow perhaps Dubois will... I do not know who Daniel would lose to. He appears to have made a concerted effort to work on defensive responsibility. He integrated his jab for that purpose very well, making sure he had Joshua going backwards when attacking. Obviously this won't work the same against Parker, and Bakole is a different animal entirely... So who knows? lol.

It's almost as if triangle theories don't work and styles make fights.

Some cliches are there for a reason.

One fight and you're a bum. One fight and you're a killer. It's far too fickle. These are all good fighters and if the heavyweights face fellow top 10 fighters they will lose some fights.

I understand why you feel that way but some of us US fans are simply reacting to the speed with which a good fighter turns into a great one. Competing at the level of "contender" is not the "top" when compared to Fury and Usyk. And none of the contenders have gotten through the mix undefeated, nor have they shown great talent by leaving the rest of the pack in the dust.
