Yep - Ricky Hatton - lost to 2 of the best fighters ever and gave up. Then made the typical ill-advised comeback and got stopped by average guy. Also turned to drink and drugs. Just one of many. You should only retire if *you* want to - don't listen to loser fans or guys on forums who want to see you get beaten up again
"Retiring early is the biggest danger to any boxer's health" Lol. Do you have any statistics to back that up. How is Andre Ward doing lately. Daniel Dubois was 23 when he lost to Joyce. Joshua will be 35 next month. Terrible comparison. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Dubois destroy Joshua again but is it in A.J's best interests? Probably not!Comment

Well said, bro. This guy is so envious of AJ that he's happy to see his downfall. So petty. This guy needs to cut AJ some slack. AJ was competitive in the fight and wobbled DuBois before he got wobbled and knocked out. Fighters back in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s fought each other loss a couple of fights here and there and came back and won championships. Lewis got dropped worst than AJ when he fought Rahman. He came back and knocked Rahman the f%%k out in the next fight. AJ should take a fight in a few months and test himself and get the stain off of this knockout away from him. Fighters loss and fighters win.
Fighters are defined by how they handle wins and losses. Barry McGuigan needs to go suck a lemon and keep his opinions to himself.

I expect Usyk will spark Fury in the rematch. Fury's punch resistance looks worse than ever. I expect Dubois to finish AJ within 2 rounds should a needless rematch ensue. Maybe even more likely, one round. AJ's punch resistance is even further diminished. And I suspect his confidence evaporates when within proximity of Dubois. This may have started around the time of their dramatic face to face kickoff interview a few months back. AJ got all twisted and rattled at Dubois. And it happened again sometime between the weigh-in and the walk to the ring.
With their diminished chins and questionable legacies, Fury vs AJ looks like GOOD TIMES to these eyes. A great 4-round fight.

I think that is some very prudent and sound advice. If AJ does decide to fight DDD again; He may just run the risk of getting seriously hurt.Comment
