Ibf wouldn't let usyk rematch Fury so why should they let Dubois tenatch Joshua?

Rematch clauses should not be allowed in world title fights anyway - with the possible exception of unifications imo

Get rematch made fast then, or let ddd fight zhang first. And fight ddd afterwards

        1) Because the mandatory isn't due. He can fight who he wants.
        2) The rematch is nothing to do with the IBF. It's Dubois's decision to give someone a rematch clause when he negotiated his voluntary defence.

A rematch is nonsense even though it's a contractual requirement.
It's not as if Dubois took a title from a champ who - as is the custom - gets a second chance as a nod to the (supposed) significance of a title.
And Joshua had no title yesterday to defend.
Joshua should have to earn his way back by beating at least one of the other top guys.
I'd much prefer to see Joshua vs Zhang over a Fury, Parker, or Usyk matchup.

EDIT: Actually, Joshua should have to go through Bakole if it's not Zhang to be in the conversation.

Nah Delboy is in entertaining fights, gives his all even when gassed, he's literally fought the whos of who of his generation Bar AJ and Wlad and is almost always competitive in said fights AJ not so much.

Every fight Joshua has there's a rematch clause F Joshua and Hearn who think they own the heavywright Division. Please retire Joshua you parasite.

There looked like two very contrasting mental states in there last night. Even beforebthe first bell Joshua had that weird zombie-like look again like he was struggling mentally.

Dubois on the other hand seems to have gone from seeming quite timid earlier in his career to looking like he and his team have unlocked some inner fire and confidence. Congratulations to him, he's fought his way back into this position.

If I was AJ I'd probably take the rematch if I genuinely thought I could put on a proper performance and win. If he loses, I'd suggest he retire. He's made enough money and had enough punches to the head and concussions.

Why are you guys still making IF scenarios for AJ. It’s now 4 losses.

Why didn’t he get “his head right” today? Are you saying AJ didn’t know he was going to put in a proper performance today?

AJ got destroyed. It’s that simple. Sure he can get a rematch but so what? Just own your losses instead of making excuses for your guy.

Because this topic is about the rematch so we discuss what could happen in that rematch.

Idk. You'd have to ask him.

                  Yeah I saw that.

So we'll discuss it here and watch it if it happens

Not sure what you mean. This is a boxing forum so of course we are going to discuss what we think the fighters did right and wrong and what we think could happen in future fights.

I was asking same question when Hearn said : "He'll believe he can hurt Dubois. He'll believe he can beat him."
Last time I've seen title challenger to be smacked like that maybe was Klitcho vs Pulev.

                    All hail Anthony "Rematch" Joshua.

Agreed. With AJ's well-known frail psyche, the rematch ends inside two rounds.
