I loved it when Tyson was giving Usyk the run around. Telling him, "fight me in December, whether you're ready or not. Otherwise, go and kick rocks" Changing the purse split from 50/50 to 70/30 in his favour. Telling Usyk his split would be reduced by 1% for every day he delayed accepting it. Pulling out of dates. Saying he didn't need to fight Usyk because everybody knew he would destroy him easily ... all that good stuff a real super star boxer is supposed to do.

Unfortunately, Tyson let his fans down by giving in to the pressure and actually fighting Usyk. Right up to the night of the fight, I was hoping he would find his balls and pull out again, but it didn't happen, so fuck him. I'm a Canelo fan now.
Fury fought Usyk, because he got a crazy money for it.

Canelo is doing the same thing with Benavidez. He is telling to Turki: ok, give me my money or I won't fight Benavidez.

Canelo is demanding crazy money and he is right. It is the fight casuals want to see.

Or if Benny beats bivol/beterbiev winner, then Nel o can fight benny. Or Nel o might duck Benny more? Who knows?

bennie has looked too good, his workrate was too high, canelo would certainly lose a decision to him at this point. he might fight him if he sees bennie slip, which he hasnt looked as good lately and if he grows accustomed to 175 coming back down to 168 will be very hard. but for now bennie not showing power doesnt really matter that work rate canelo cannot keep up with, he would drop a decision on that alone.

Imagine how different Canelo's career would be if he didn't have red hair....

Let's hope Canelo continues avoiding Benevidez and doesn't let us down by crumbling in the face of big money and ducking accusations, like Fury did.

Pro boxers are not cowards. It is business.

It is dangerous sport. Nobody wants to take unnecessary risks. Unless if it is for a crazy money.

there is this person named canelo and he is 100 percent a coward. its not an unnecessary risk to challenge yourself against the #1 guy/team in your sport. if its too dangerous for you retire!

can you imagine in any other sport this type of cowardice? ok its super bowl time and 1 team refuses to play the other...TOO RISKY! oh wait they are playing the 9th best team instead? what....why? oh yeah and they are doing it for far less money! that is cowardice.

the crazy part is that people in the sport of boxing actually defend this type of action. they actually continue to praise and give canelo accolades for being so cowardly. they actually pretend like hes still the "top guy" would they do that for the super bowl team who ran away? no of course not. they would be ridiculed and laughed at nonstop. they wouldnt say "oh wow they beat the 9th best team while avoiding the best team" they wouldnt say "well football is a dangerous sport, no point taking risks against a team that might hurt you" cowardice in boxing has been completely normalized. and the super bowl analogy isnt even apt, because canelo has been ducking for years and years, thats several super bowls in a row.

They tell him to fight Crawford. He says, Crawford has done like nothing to deserve a fight ( which is true).

And Canelo is right. He is a top boxing star in American and Mexican market, and nobody should order him who should he fight.

He is smart enough to fight no hopers for a good money, because he probably understands he is not in his prime anymore.

Boxers take hard fights when they have to. Bivol and Beterbiev will fight , because they have to. Nobody would pay them crazy money to fight no hopers.

Canelo won`t fight Benavidez, because he doesn`t have to. It is what it is.
I agree but still id like to see canelo fight Benividas but hes at the END of his career and is still whipping all these young lions quite easily. Hes a all time great that people don't want to admit. Hes fought everyone in his prime for the last 10 fkn years. Avoided no one.
                      Hes due a farewell tour.
