We as fans have the right to judge him and his actions however we want. After the Bivol debacle, Canelo seems content fighting limited opposition for the most money possible.

But the facts remain for Canelo. He has faced either the boogie men, goat, champs, and lineal champs in all the divisions he's fought in. That is why he has reach his status.

Sure the Benny fight would be great but Bivol is better. So saying he is afraid of Benny is non sense.

He is also in a unique position so yeah he can call the shots and make the most lucrative fights for himself and plan the his next major challenge has he pleases.

I used to be a huge Tyson Fury fan because I thought he was a big enough star that he didn't need to fight nobodies like Usyk in order to be recognised as the best HW of his generation. I loved it when Tyson was giving Usyk the run around. Telling him, "fight me in December, whether you're ready or not. Otherwise, go and kick rocks" Changing the purse split from 50/50 to 70/30 in his favour. Telling Usyk his split would be reduced by 1% for every day he delayed accepting it. Pulling out of dates. Saying he didn't need to fight Usyk because everybody knew he would destroy him easily ... all that good stuff a real super star boxer is supposed to do.

Unfortunately, Tyson let his fans down by giving in to the pressure and actually fighting Usyk. Right up to the night of the fight, I was hoping he would find his balls and pull out again, but it didn't happen, so fuck him. I'm a Canelo fan now.
