I thought Canelo looked like a fat old man in the Berlanga fight.

He definitely doesn't look neither fat nor old, but he did appear to be breathing heavily early in the fight. By the 4th round I believe. He's also telegraphing that over hand right quite a bit and missed by a mile on a few occasions. I honestly think he's got 1, maybe 2 big fights left in him.

I'll respectfully disagree. I do believe anyone of either Bivol, Benavidez or Bud are big fights and I think he'll fight one of them within a year's time. As for any other names, I wouldn't call those big fights, but they are big events. The guy has a huge following still which is why he'll still be able to fill 20,000 seat arenas and generate a huge purse without Turki's oil money.

There was quite the difference in energy between this card and Turki's card in LA and in my opinion, Turki's event was a better card with way better matches, yet still lacked the energy that Ginger's fight against Berlanga produced. Crowd speaking that is...

Ginger's fans were loud and supportive in contrast to the fans that were at Turki's event. Shoot, I heard boos while Bud was fighting, although unwarranted in my opinion.

benavidez has workrate, stamina and underrated defense when compared to berlanga.

berlanga was a human punching bag with no defense.

Well sure, but those folks and that energy was still for Ginger. Are you suggesting that if Turki and Ginger's event were switched, Bud or the other's on that card would have generated the same energy?? Turki's event was just down the street and no way did Noche Mexico produce the same energy. I streamed both events and their was quite the difference in reception and fan cheering from both events.

But if you honestly think that Ginger wouldn't have sold the event out nor produced the same level of excitement from his fans had it been held on a different day, well you're entitled to your opinion.

There's a reason the guy is given those Mexican dates and it isn't just because he's Mexican. The guy has a tremendous fan base that no other Mexican since Chavez has had. Neither Marquez nor MAB who I am a fan of never had the same amount of support...
