First was he won't fight any fighters from Mexico after fighting 40ish fighters while climbing the ranks and then recently Jaime Munguia.

Then he asks Benavidez to fight recognizable fighters to earn a shot because he only had beaten one champion in Dirrell, now he has beaten Andrade, Dirrell, and Plant. His win over Gvozdyk is also pretty decent at 175 compared to say Ryder, Jermell Charlo, Munguia, and Berlanga at Super Middleweight. Heck I say it is quite better than anyone Alvarez has faced at 168 like Saunders and Plant.

Then it was he won't fight a fighter that only brings weight after bringing up Charlo from two divisions below, Munguia who just debuted to the division and now Berlanga who rehydrated up to 190+.

Canelo just won't take the challenge, fans of professional boxing have to move on at this point.

Everybody knows Canelo packs on 20 pounds after his weigh ins too. He'd probably be heavier than Benavidez on fight night if they fought at 168.

its a pity we dont have this type of info for sure to put and end to the endless canelo weight checkers who tell us how small he is every fight, even when fighting guys from lower divisions amazingly at times

At this point he has embarrassed himself. He does not want to fight big punchers and everyone knows

Haha, yeah Canelo always look weak, pale (well, paler than usual) and depleted when he arrives for fight week in Vegas. Remember when weigh-ins used to be at 1 or 2 in the afternoon? They're all early Saturday morning now giving Canelo damn near 2 days to reydrate.
