Berlanga claims that he doesn't have to respect Canelo but then proceeds to call him a legend? Let's hope his fighting on Saturday is better than his trash talking.

I'll probably watch a YouTube fight commentary live stream while I got a Have Gun Will Travel rerun playing on Pluto.
What you should be watching is "A Clockwork Orange" specifically the scene where his eyelids are taped open... Because if one blinks they may well lose sight of the inevitably quick KO that will send Berlanga to dream land.

I agree billeau. I just do not see this being competitive.

It depends Tibburon: If we consider the age of the Universe, how many eons the Earth has been around, and the potential for what could happen based on the vast amounts of time, versus what has happened in the sport of boxing, Berlanga has great odds! About as good as winning the lottery! However, if we consider boxing from its inception as a sport, all the bouts fought, the winning percentage of the winners, versus the losers... Berlanga does not have a chance in H e l l.

Philosophically? David Hume tells us the sun has risen and that tells us more about why it should rise tomorrow than any scientific explanation... Berlanga has about as much chance as tomorrow the sun forgetting to rise.

Yeah... and it probably is good practice for real boxing fans to remind people that they are being sold a certain quality of goods here. And as you say: "Nothing against Berlanga."

I am not surprised that Canelo gave this guy a shot. A lot of dough for an easy night's work. Was it deserving? Of course not. At least Mungia earned it. Berlanga beat McCrory and gets a shot at Canelo? Craziness!
