So don't act like you're not the one who started it. And now you're angrier because he responded.
    You reap what you sow.
Honestly the numbers were looking thin as everyone was talking about how silly of a fight this is and its obvious Berlanga has next to no chance and how obviously Canelo is ducking Benavidez.

You could see the fact that Canelo and Berlanga had a discussion and Berlanga was told to start insulting Canelo in order to sell the fight.

Prior to that Berlanga was saying for months that Benavidez hadn't shown respect and that is why Canelo wasn't fighting him....he was gushing over Canelo and saying Canelo had promised him he was next, that Canelo was the best, etc.

Berlanga is doing as he is told. People are buying into it and it has worked to some degree. I am interested to see if Canelo really tries to KO him. I think there is likely already an understanding between them that if Berlanga really tries to hurt Saul, Saul will go for it.

I kind of expect a Saul UD, or Berlanga quits after taking a few big shots to save face. Berlanga is making life changing money, he isn't there to get really hurt. And Saul is there for just money, obviously.

Boxing is dying for a reason.

Edgar could be convincingly cast as a low-level henchman working for a guy like Tony Montana.
He's got the look and the demeanor of a pugnacious and earnest but not-too-bright enforcer.

Well, it looked real at that press conference but I wouldn't be surprised of this whole thing is scripted, either.
It is, after all, entertainment and show business.

In the end, though, the ring is still a truth machine.
Those who want to be in it for the glory show us by the way they fight, and those who are there for the payday, again, show us by the way they fight.

Canelo should be knocking this guy out but he won't - Canelo by useless and boring unanimous decision, unless the referee makes a shoddy early stoppage...

Hey writer ,I call bs on YOU. It was never proven that Margarito had loaded gloves in the 1st Cotto fight. Don’t write it as if it’s a proven fact . It’s an opinion . Period.

You can hate on the Mexican idol all you want, but he's just laughing at you all the way to the bank. He fights twice a year on a regular basis. This man is a multi-millionaire and owns lots of properties in Mexico and in the US. Unlike inactive fighters who take long vacation after just getting paid a miniscule percent of what the Mexican idol is earning. They're wasting their primes as if they'll be able to stay longer in this profession than regular workers.

It was a quote from Berlanga. The writer is just writing what Edgar stated. Why would he edit certain quotes? Was there anything Berlanga said that is actually factual? It's all opinion.
