With all due respect I don’t have any problem erasing it from my mind. The guy was 3 pounds overweight before the fight and was apparently doping himself to the gills before the fight, too. That totally erases any legitimacy over that fight - no matter how much Garcia and his fans try to play that “You can’t change what we all saw” line. What you can’t change is that Garcia went into that ring that night as a drug cheat. If Haney had had any sense he would have refused to fight Garcia the minute Garcia never bothered to lose the extra weight and just moved Barboza up to the main event.
But dumb Haney was overconfident and obsessed with getting the PPV money.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news to ya pal but all boxers not on Vada 24/7 have taken, are taking or planning to take PEDs. Otherwise they’d all be on it. Sorry to ruin it for you. We just bash Garcia because he got caught but all are cycling the juice.

Ryan ain't lying that's why Shakur is fighting Cordina next coming up in weight and from a loss. Shakur's is feather-fisted, I don't know why people can't see that. He hasn't looked impressive at 135, his weight bully days are over.

I think most people do see that.
Shakur gets tons of flak on these pages for that and other perceived deficiencies.

Shakur has some of the best skill in boxing, but yes, not a box office attraction, even for us sweet science connoisseurs.

Having said that, it may take someone like Gervona to bring out that extra we want to see.

I don’t understand why BoxingScene is still even posting articles about this disgraced asshole guy! Are they racist too? He is simply irrelevant.

Oscar was flopping around the canvas in pain for about 40-50 seconds. QueenRy got up immediately at 10 and started congratulating Team Tank. Big difference.

Garcia is obviously in a fiery mode responding to his detractors. Shakur happens to be one of them.
It's similar to Conor Benn responding to everyone who took a swipe at him 2 years ago regarding his ped issues.
