I've been frustrated by this for years and would have bought a lot more ppv...or at least been happier with the price I paid. A tier system has always been needed and IMHO, a lot of money is left on the table because of it.

I grew up with tapes and cds in a backwater part of Canada. I hated buying most non mainstream music for 27.99 a record(sometimes more/less) This had been going on for years and I, like many others began the burning stuff. A band called the mars volta started putting out concept albums(lots of effort for them) for 10 to 12 dollars. It felt like a really fair price and I was more than happy to pay it for the value received.

Sorry for the long post, but this seems like the same thing for me. For the record I would happily pay 8.99 for Alvarez vs berlanga...the real price is disgusting and part of the reason piracy is so prevalent. Ppv these days are mostly worth between 20 and 40 imho and they charge close to 100...braindead way to make the sport more niche.

Don't be greedy and charge obscene prices and people wont steal it! Be fair! $20 is fair. Europe only pays that, why not the US?

I don’t think this will work from a revenue standpoint. There will be more ppv buyers but not 4-5 times as many. I personally will be buying the ppv when I otherwise would have streamed it illegally, because this price is actually fair.

No brainer really that people were gonna get fed up of getting ripped off.

Needs to go back to only the top fights being PPVs and don't expect 1 fight to carry a card. Then build up everybody else on regular TV/subscription channels. Get them fighting competitively before they can access PPV money. Got a much better chance of growing the sport like that.

Earn the shot on PPV. Fed up of seeing every mofo with 1000 Instagram followers thinking they're Mayweather.

Its not money out of their pocket if the money never got to their pocket.

They're not losing money from people who were never going to buy it in the first place.

Its like people thinking their taxes are their money they're missing out on. It's not yours, its the governments.

As a convicted criminal i have fück all respect for the law or fear of its consequences to me.

If people are gonna make it available for free, im gonna watch it.

It's like going to a tïtty bar and putting a blindfold on.

Over here in the US they have way to many rights. They have the right to be corporate sl_ves. They believe they have rights but they are in debt into their eyeballs trying to live check by check because they are strong "independent" (aka lonelyl)women.

I don't really even wanna see this fight but for $20 bucks im definitely gonna buy it just for the support. Its a shame. Greed has managed to price fans outta watching fights from home.
