I luv the thought process, but I’m going to steal it and watch it for free so he doesn’t make a dam dime off the USA, not on me anyways!Wacked_Out likes this.

I grew up with tapes and cds in a backwater part of Canada. I hated buying most non mainstream music for 27.99 a record(sometimes more/less) This had been going on for years and I, like many others began the burning stuff. A band called the mars volta started putting out concept albums(lots of effort for them) for 10 to 12 dollars. It felt like a really fair price and I was more than happy to pay it for the value received.
Sorry for the long post, but this seems like the same thing for me. For the record I would happily pay 8.99 for Alvarez vs berlanga...the real price is disgusting and part of the reason piracy is so prevalent. Ppv these days are mostly worth between 20 and 40 imho and they charge close to 100...braindead way to make the sport more niche.
Absolutely insane…

If im not re streaming the broadcast or downloading it, im not stealing it anymore than i would be listening to a streamed DJ mix.
I'm profiting from the proceeds of someone elses crime but as that means not giving back to the Sauds Wealth Fund i can sleep easy.
Fury and Usyk dont need my 20$ neither.

Remember boxing Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons on regular network channels? Those
were the days. This is a good step forward IMO... hopefully it helps the sport bring in new fans.Willow The Wisp

Another problem is timing.
I'm 52, when i was younger we'd head down the pub, have a few & 9-10 oclock the main boxing event would start, Naz, Calzaghe, Benn, Eubank, Lennox (when fighting here)& after the fight's we'd head to a club.
Today in the Uk the main event doesn't start until midnight & until Turkish the undercards were fixed mismatchroom/ top rank diet garbage.... You can shove it.
Today, if it's a great card with the main event at a reasonable time I'd pay a tenner tops.....
Because tbh I'm quite happy watching the highlights on youtube with a full English & a cuppa in the morning.

Its a great strategy if its cheap enough people wont bother dealing with ****ty streams that cut out/lag.
