Not a fan of Eddie Hearn but his final offer was almost 10 times what Brian Norman made in his last fight.

To all of you speculating on who was at fault between Boots and Brian for the fight breaking down I got news for you. If you think for a second that it's was Brian Sr and Bozy doing the negotiations you're wrong. This was coming str8t from Bob. Arum has been shut out of the WW div over the last decade. He finally is back in with a champ that likes being at TR and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Arum has an obligation to ESPN to showcase championship fights. It's not practical for him to let his champ go on another network where his fighter will be severely disadvantaged. Bob knows Dazn and Eddie is on the ropes and damn near collapsing. Why would he help them out?
Oi! Mate! You’re crackers lad! You KNOW that everyone must now to young Edward Hearn and do his bidding! Privilege demands it!

The sad truth is that Ennis pops has spent the past 2 years turning down ANY meaningful fight without even TRYING to negotiate.

Totally agree with you that Jolene shat the bed. She actually should have had a little more faith in her fighter because I think its a winnable fight for Norman. I dont think Ennis is some unbeatable phenom. $1.75 was MORE than fair.......
I have to admit, you're right about Jaron Ennis, he may have superstar potential but he's not a superstar until he fights the fights. That said, I believe most experts would agree that Ennis along with Barrios and probably Stanionis are the biggest names at 147lbs and represent the most money. I understand the reasoning all the way around, but I'm still pissed at Eddie, Jaron, Jolene and Norman for depriving boxing of a real competitive fight.

True... but Trinidad got caught with illegal wraps by Bother Naazim, so he gets an asterisk next to his name and next to all those crazy knockouts.

I wonder how much is fair for a unknown fighter, currently fighting on undercards?

See the huge difference now that Ennis is with a non-PBC/SHO team? Everything is all out in the open, isn't it? The media is having a field day being able to write their stories. In contrast, when he was loitering around the PBC compound, nobody have any clue what goes on inside the PBC mystery island. Why he was so inactive, can't get fights when there's Barrios, Stanionis, Kavaliauskas, Crowley, Butaev, Josesito in the stable. There's also Avanesyan and Cobbs who can fight anywhere for stay-busy fights.

Perhaps most casuals but I will assure you that no casual or boring purists could ever pick out Avanesyan or Kavaliauskas or Madrinov from a lineup.
