Edgar is too much of a chicken to go up to 175. Anyone can see he's a natural 175 lb. fighter, but he's knows he'd get his clock cleaned at 175, so he melts down to 168. Carl Froch did the same thing, but Carl Froch was actually a top level fighter with confidence.

He was top tier for awhile. I remember Jermaine Taylor saying "I dont even know who he is" (Carl Froch)

Then gets completely man handled by the cobra. Those were some good years.

I don't find the wisdom in saying this before a fight at 168. Does he plan on using the reason for his loss on being weight-drained? I feel as though he should be saying, "I feel great at 168".. even if he doesn't..

Froch was no joke. He was obnoxious AF, but always backed it up. The only guys who handled him were SOG and Kessler. Carl was a 3:1 underdog when he destroyed Bute. People forget that.

Lol.... You're nothing at 168 and your head will be splattered into oblivion at 175.

Definitely sounds like he is having trouble making weight. Why even bring it up two weeks before the fight.
