I’d say Berlanga is better off retiring from boxing after cashing in his winning lottery ticket. 175 will be unforgiving.

Every time the talk about Berlanga in a news piece they have to bring up that he KOed 16 fighters in a row. That doesn't matter much since he has looked subpar after that and it includes him biting another fighter.

It would be a miracle if Berlanga pulls the upset. Now he is talking about weight and that is all he has is a size advantage, once he goes up he will be a stepping stone.

Berlanga's IQ is somewhere between 100 maybe 115, he simply doesn't process well. He's strong and athletic but he's not Joseph Smith strong, and he's almost incapable of making adjustments. The vast majority of Canelo's highlight reels are big, one dimensional guys that don't process well and Berlanga is just that kind of dumb

I expect Canelo to allow Berlanga to do his thing and even carry him for 4 or 5 rounds and then start beating him up before stopping him in rounds 6 or 7.

In short, the only good that comes from this fight is that Berlanga makes Jaime Munguia look phenomenal. Instead of moving up Berlanga would do himself well by investing in Laundry-mats because they're simple and I don't mean that as a slight, I really mean it would be in his best interest.

Yeah, that fight was more than 15 years ago and I haven't watched it since.
So for me the highlights are what I remember.
Froch got wobbled and dropped hard somewhere in the middle of the fight, yet found the heart to get up and stay competitive.
As I recall, his stoppage of Taylor wasn't a lucky punch but a sustained flurry of accurate punches in the 12th Round with Taylor backed into a corner.
So in terms of who dominated the overall fight, I just don't recall.
I can say that Froch did the dominating that really counted in the last 15 seconds, though

Not trying to be argumentative, just curious how you can say this with such specificity?
What is it about Berlanga that tell you so?

Yeah, I've noticed this also. Like, this is the ONLY selling point as to why he's facing Canelo.

He's not the first to have huge KO streaks and if they want to go by first rd KOs, Edwin Valero hit 18 before some chump saw rd2. He then went on to KO every other fighter he ever faced before offing himself and straight from Wikipedia, "Valero remains the only champion in WBC history to win every fight in his career by knockout."

After reading all the comments in here , I would love for Berlanga to pull an Ali vs Liston , a Rahman vs Lewis, a Douglas vs Tyson and so on.All of you will change your nicks just on pure shame. To me the fight will be better than the sparring Canelo vs Munguia or the scare "sheet" so called lion Charlo.See you on Sept 15.

Saying somebody is low I.Q. without anything to justify it only tells you his own I.Q.
