      That fight was just awesome.
I think Taylor even had Froch on the canvas with a legit hard knockdown in one of the early rounds if I recall correctly.
At the time Calzaghe was still the undefeated 168 champ and Froch was chasing him.
Remember Froch calling out Calzaghe just moments after that great flurry of punches in the corner that stopped Taylor: "It's only boxing"

Forget about the weight conversation your fighting at 168, so you better be zeroed in on that, and nothing else.
Nobody care right now what you intend to do after your fight with Canelo, we just care about how what you are going to be able to do on 9/14/2024!
Get ready for what you've got coming, it is the biggest fight in your career up to now, and if you aren't focused it might be your last.

Froch was the real deal and was a must-watch fighter for me after he stopped Taylor.
He got off the canvas to win more than once and had heart for miles.
For those so inclined, there was a lot of Froch nut to hug, so to speak.

Let's hope this fight is competitive. Canelo hasn't been hurt or down, so it's up to Berlanga.

He looks huge compared to Canelo. He really belongs to 175. This will be his excuse for the loss.

Ok I'm not denying that but I'm just stating the guy gave Taylor no credit and said he man handled Taylor which is far from the truth , froch was dropped beat up and came out of nowhere to stop Taylor, it was a classic alright but if froch didn't land that hail Mary he was about to be on the losing end , my comment was just to the idiot acting as if froch dominated and man handled Taylor , which never happened

This is what I was gonna say. Every time I see a pic of those guys facing off, I ask myself: These guys are in the same division? It’s not like Berlanga is a string bean; he’s thick. Edgar obviously drains something fierce to fight at 168. At 175, he’s gonna get lumped up. Let him fight the guy everyone wants Canelo to face, Benavidez; it’ll be a bloodbath.
