Saying somebody is low I.Q. without anything to justify it only tells you his own I.Q.

To be fair to the original poster, he said Berlanga's IQ was above average:

"Berlanga's IQ is somewhere between 115 maybe 120"

I thought this was an oddly-specific assertion and I was curious to know why he posted it.

What is it about Berlanga that tell you so?

Pay attention to Berlanga's interviews, there are tells and nothing is original. Berlanga's fighting style is the same, he's an off the rack guy incapable of making even minor adjustments with the most basic, habitual, style and not because he lacks the physicality, it's because he's unaware. Berlanga doesn't see very basic patterns and that's why he gets hit by the same shots and only pulls through by force.

As big as he is, watch how easily Canelo picks him apart.

It was never meant to be an attack on people with a low IQ and I'd give a more in depth answer but that requires a level of capacity that based upon your 26 posts, you clearly do not have.

I actually had him between 100 -110 but changed it because I thought it would be received poorly and still, it's apparently too harsh so I changed it back to 100-110.

After reading all the comments in here , I would love for Berlanga to pull an Ali vs Liston , a Rahman vs Lewis, a Douglas vs Tyson and so on.All of you will change your nicks just on pure shame.To me the fight will be better than the sparring Canelo vs Munguia or the scare "sheet" so called lion Charlo.See you on Sept 15.

I appreciate your enthusiasm but after Canelo easily dispatches Berlanga, you'll have a new respect for Jaime Munguia.

Yeah, I've noticed this also. Like, this is the ONLY selling point as to why he's facing Canelo.

He's not the first to have huge KO streaks and if they want to go by first rd KOs, Edwin Valero hit 18 before some chump saw rd2. He then went on to KO every other fighter he ever faced before offing himself and straight from Wikipedia, "Valero remains the only champion in WBC history to win every fight in his career by knockout."

Valero had more than a KO punch, he had some skills to go with it.

Other worthy mentions that fell short:


Courage Tshabalala - Supposedly he had like over 70 KOes in the amateurs and started with a KO streak. The second he fought a fighter with a bit of skills he got KOed and every loss was by KO.


Tyrone Brunsone - He actually broke Valero's record with 19 first round KOes. As soon as he fought a fighter with a winning record he got a draw.

The KO streak is good for hype but that is about it. Very few do make a decent career out of it like Gomez did.

Let's hope this fight is competitive. Canelo hasn't been hurt or down, so it's up to Berlanga.
