  • Can we rule out Canelo fighting Pacheco?

I feel like he’d just vacate if that gets called.

Doesn't matter if it's called or not. Canelo fights who Canelo wants, and the belts follow him around for their 2%

I hate to be THAT guy, but…Canelo wouldn’t vacate. He’d hold on to the belt and the organization would happily oblige him.

If Benavidez can’t force Canelo to give him his shot, what in the blue blazes would Pacheco be able to force Canelo to do? Absolutely jack ****.

I don’t agree with it. But it’s reality, unfortunately. Pacheco is in the same boat as Munguia, Morrell, and Mbilli (young guns with power).

I didn’t mention Berlanga cause…somehow he got the shot. What the ****, right?

The fact that it’s going up against the UFC’s sphere debut, Canelo’s fighting the easiest fight since Yldrim, AND…I just found out…THEY’RE CHARGING A WHOPPING $90 FOR THIS.

NINETY DOLLARS…I’d be surprised if this even cracks 250k.

FOH with those prices, Eddie Hearn…

Canelo would benefit from consecutive box office/PPV failures. Maybe in losing some money he'd rediscover his spine.

Pacheco is nothing special but he would beat Berlanga right now. I dont see it happening in the near future.

Sounds exactly like the type of fight Canelo would take right now tbh. I don't expect the WBO to order it though. Hearn doesn't have that type of pull with Paco.

Isn't Pacheco Mexican heritage? Canelo doesn't fight fighters of Mexican heritage. Apparently Munguia was Aztec or something and not Mexican....

Munguia is young but he is not a threat, unless he learn how to box, he reached his ceiling.
