If Turkie isn’t footing the bill and Hearn has to dig into his Turkie stash, good luck for any Hearn fighter getting paid his/her value. DAZN has lost so much money on the Hearn experiment that Turkie has been his savior and Hearn has obliged by being Turkie’s fav lap dog. Turkie has saved DAZN which from the beginning has been bleeding red ink on the balance sheet.

Let’s take a closer look at Eddie’s love/ hate relationship with the IBF.

iF Eddie gets his way, he loves them, if not, he hates them. Reminds you of a spoiled, entitled child I ask?

One thing Eddie, or as the DAZN announcer must say, Mr. Eddie Hearn, should be grateful for is the fact that he gets to speak to Daryl Peoples. You would have a better chance of hitting the lottery than getting a return call, text, or email from Peoples.

Ever been to an IBF convention? You’ll find more excitement attending a wake. The best part of attending an IBF convention is the day it ends.

Now let me be fair. The IBF has done more for Eddie than any Promoter of record. Watch how fast Eddie gets first dibs for his fighters when the IBF has a vacant title.

The IBF decided to enforce their rules ever since the Fed’s put a monitor in place after years of corruption. Having a monitor in place means if you want to buy a pack of bubble gum, the court appointed monitor must approve it. Kind of strange when the government is known to pay $1,000 for toilet seats.

But, that’s no excuse for whoever is in charge of ratings at the IBF. I think there ratings would make more sense if they had Bonzo the chimpanzee in charge.

Well, my bad, what do you know, I just found out that Bonzo the chimp actually does the IBF ratings. I hope animal rights activists don’t take offense. In fact, how the IBF operates is starting to make sense now. Bonzo is the ratings chairman, Daryl Peoples only communicates by carrier pigeon, although he’s been looking into buying a used first generation flip phone, and the main course at their annual convention is tea and biscuits to satisfy Eddie and yet he’s still biting the hand that feeds him.

I have a tip for the IBF in case they’re still having PTSD issues and fear having to work with government monitor again. If you want to upgrade from tea and biscuits and serve pizza as the main course at your next annual convention, buy government issued toilet seats and resell them on EBay. After all, taking a page from the government playbook. let’s you argue precedence. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander Daryl. Btw Daryl, don’t even think of Eddie being your lap dog too, as as that honor already belongs to Turkie. But, if you don’t like the hate part in your relationship with Eddie, try addressing him as Mr. Eddie Hearn and see if that brings more love.

Eddie said it himself on video, about 7 mins in here. Seems legit.
Normans team has said they wanted 200k more. Got greedy and lost the money. The IBF has called the mandatory.

That is one way to look at it. Another way is that Norman (who is so called a champion) is offered $1.75 to fight Boots when his previous best purse was $200K. So is his real value higher than $1.75M? I don't know. I think his opinion of his value is over inflated or else he is scared to fight and loose - better to make peanuts and stay undefeated, than be crushed and paid $1.75M. He has sparred Boots so he knows what he is up against.

That previous paycheck was prior to winning the belt. You don't think Bob upped his pay grade? What was he offered to fight Teo? Yeah, I'd like to see a unification, too....but I don't think Hearn is giving Norman an offer he can't refuse.

Bud is a lion, but lions sometimes don't wanna fight other lions. They know they could win, but could still get badly hurt in the process. So they go after gazelle and other prey

A lions job is to protect the pride, his personal harem. But, there is always a younger up and comer willing to test the older Lion for his pride. Crawford didn’t look good against Madrimov and now the young lions, Ortiz, Boots, Madrimov, Tszyu, and Lopez are ready to move in on the older Crawford, who’s obsession is to hit the Riyadh lottery if Turkie is foolish enough to make the mismatch against Canelo, the lion with a fortress around his pride.

Bud is still THE lion, but he's near the end and wants the biggest checks. Boots and Ortiz don't qualify. If the two, Boots is clearly the harder fight.

Vergil is the primary investment, so GBP would be willing to use Conwell as his shield. I think GBP would play nice and allow Conwell/Ennis because they have nothing to lose.

TR might pay Norman $1.7M for Teofimo, but definitely not for Cuevas. Norman's doesn't yet have the accomplishments or marquee value to justify 7-figure purses from TR. I think he'll need to beat Teofimo to make that a reality. Team Norman could've handled this situation differently, "We appreciate the offer, but Norman is young and we want to him get a couple defenses before stepping up to fight Ennis." Fans would be disappointed, but accept the reasoning and move on. Norman Jr. now has extra pressure on his shoulders to perform well.
