A siders like canelo are only a siders because they have the fans who buy their ppv events, so he can be all smug and im a king etc etc but he has disrespected his fans & he takes them for granted as well all the while they are on here and other places defending him like hes their son, its a strange sport in that way & they almost buy any ppv hes in as well, in the end they are actually great fans but they fuel his crap at times because he feels he can get away with anything & he mostly if not all the time canRoj likes this.

He should take note of how Floyd’s career has aged. Floyd thought people would still be demanding he fight pro fights at this point of his life and it’s not the case. Stars built on bandwagon riders come to realize it later on. The ones who will still talk about you twenty years later are the real fight fans and them same real fight fans don’t hold back tearing em down

Canelo is a great fighter. He's elusive and hard to hit and when u do land, you won't hurt him anyhow. He also punches very hard and knows exactly what he's doing. You can't make mistakes against him or it could be lights out.
Having said all that, he's a cherry picker, and I don't support cherry pickers. So I never buy his pay per views. I get it, he's robbing the game like Mayweather did, but he's scared of David. Or scared of losing to him. And how is he the idol of boxing when Bivol straight kicked his ass and he never pursued a rematch or even mentioned his name anymore? Where's the Mexican pride?

If berlanga had any fans you could ask them to name his top 5 or top 3 wins. but he doesnt have any fansnghtmr111 likes this.

Actually taking the fight and winning would go a long way to secure his legacy, but when you finish out an otherwise HOF career with so many soft touches that you could open a mattress factory, it's got to taint it at least some. And when achieving undisputed is one of the biggest achievements in your career, but you ducked the #1 and #2 contenders for the entirety of your reign, it puts big asterisks on your victory.A.B Counterhooks likes this.
