No, the guy who debuted at 135 wants to fight the guy who debuted at 140. With that being said, Ginger should fight Benavidez or Bivol and call it a day. No point in accepting Bud's pleads. I like Bud and would like for him to make $$$$, but Ginger has nothing to gain fighting Bud....

So what are the expectations for Bud for the next several months? Is he just going to wait for Canelo hoping Turki makes the fight between him and the Mexican superstar? He's doing it passively, not actively, right? He won't talk to the Canelo people. Just waiting, hoping the fight would just be offered to him on a silver platter.

Do you expect him to take an interim fight while waiting? I don't think so.

Obviously, Crawford wants astronomical sums of money for this type of fight. Which doesn't impress me that much, if you ask me. It's no different from an average guy on the street saying I'll fight Mike Tyson if you pay me $1 million. So silly to make anything more than that. It's the complete opposite of Amir Khan during his days. He was considered a GBP fighter yet he went out of his way to get the fight he wanted. He didn't get all of them but he was negotiating on his own. Not just delude fans into thinking he got balls to fight anyone.

Why is Crawford not sending a lawyer or a rep to talk to whoever is in charge of the Canelo fights? PBC seemed to have taken over. So talk to PBC. He doesn't have to do it on his own, just send a rep to start the ball rolling. Do it after Canelo dismantles Berlanga. Go climb up there in the post-fight interview.

he did before... but after his fight at 154, he said he never brought up canelo's name and that he wanted to fight canelo.

To me Crawford's claiming to want Canelo is similar to Jermell finding an escape route in Alvarez to avoid high-risk, low reward fights. It's crystal clrear Charlo avoided Tszyu. In Crawford's case he wants no part of Ennis, who is another escape artist. (I don't condemn Crawford for that.) T Bud merely wanted the Spence rematch. And now new hungry fighters began to pop up like Ortiz, Tszyu, Fundora. I don't think Crawford would want any of those smokes. Only way to avoid those fights is an escape route.

This sounds like a duck from Team Fundora if one were to ask me. They prefer Spence over Crawford because they believe it’s a more winnable fight.

They want Crawford to pursue Canelo Alvarez.
Why? It’s because they are afraid of Sebastian getting his ass whupped by Terence “Bud” Crawford.

In addition, Vergil Ortiz doesn’twant that smoke from Terence Crawford either. He wants the winner of Fundora/Spence.

I bet Crawford can't even do what Andrade did showing up in Canelo press conferences and call him out on his face. Or how about Lara making himself look like a fool standing beside Canelo? How about Crawford just climbing up in the ring in the Berlanga post fight interview just to prove he really wants it?

Crawford ain't fighting Fundora. His escape route is the Canelo fight, though.
Wrong! Before Turki Alashikh ever made the Canelo Alvarez proposition to Terence “Bud” Crawford; His preference has always been Sebastian Fundora.

He even petitioned the WBO for that particular fight because he wanted to become a four time multi-divisional titleholder.

Ortiz is just a name that does absolutely nothing for Crawford’s legacy because he doesn’t hold a major title at 154.

Had Ortiz been Fundora; Whom is the WBO Junior middleweight champion. Then Crawford wouldn’t so much as to hesitate in taking that fight in a heart beat.

You are right about Jaron “Boots Ennis however. He is ducking him. That is a fight that both himself and his team alike had all acknowledged that they were avoiding.
