This is the right move for Crawford. Try to become lineal at 154, then undisputed.

If he becomes lineal at 154 he'll be just the third four division lineal champion in men's boxing history (Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao). He's already one of just nine men to be a three division lineal champion (Fitzsimmons, Armstrong, Ross, Canzoneri, Leonard, De La Hoya, Floyd, Manny, Crawford).

If he becomes undisputed at 154 he'll be the first man in the 3/4 belt eras to be a three division undisputed champion. So far the only men in the 3/4 belt eras to be two division undisputed champion were Holyfield, Crawford, Inoue, and Usyk.

That's Crawford's legacy. The Canelo fight is just a fantasy.

Fundora will probably vacate the WBO belt and fight Spence like he has been planning to all along.

But Crawford will also be mandatory to the winner of the Spence v Fundora fight because the Madrimov fight was a WBC final eliminator.

I like this matchup a lot but it seems like Bud has set his sight on a Canelo
pay-day exclusively. I hope Turki or someone convinces him its a mismatch and take on Fundora instead at 154 where he truly belongs.

Crawford is the money fight and I think Fundo is a dangerous man,. He put the run on Sue and was scaring people until he got hit with a stray brick. Cutting the ring off on Fundo is like running around the block. I am a big Crawford fan, but he is getting close to closing time.

There is no such thing as a lineal champion in any division in the sport.

No way you can compare Crawford to Armstrong he held the titles all at the same time and make 19 title defends of the welter title also only 8 weight class

PBC's chance to work with Crawford again. Make the fight happen, Mr. Haymon. Show Turki PBC can do it.
