Haters gonna hate, like this poster does.
This claim is demonstrably false as well as a bigoted smear.
The world doesn't need more of what this guy is pushing, and neither does boxing.

Honestly Saudi money is the perfect fit for boxing.

Boxing has been corrupted by money, and fighters choosing their own opponents for almost it's whole history. Least with Saudi money the fans are actually starting to benefit now too....

I appreciate the mention of women in boxing and the fact that there has only been one female bout to date, Ramla Ali on the AJ card in 2022. And yes, there is the announcement of the Skye Nicolson-Raven Chapman fight -- the first women's boxing bout on a Riyadh Season card -- but a second fight in two years does not a commitment make, especially since there have been opportunities on non-Saudi Rihadh Season cards in the UK and USA where women were and are excluded. As you note: fighters such as Claressa Shields, Katie Taylor, Savannah Marshall champions all, and on and on, have providen the brilliance of the sport. The deliberate exclusion of these talents continues to choke the life out of the sport along with the opportunity to grow the fan base. Truly SMH...

And you lot are forgetting, Haymon worked with Hearn in the early days of pbc, there were matchroom fighters fighting on pbc cards when pbc was on free tv. it was only when Hearn tried to move matchroom to the usa and lure pbc fighters to dazn did Haymon realise what hearn wanted to do to him. Pbc has worked with golden boy, matchroom, and ESPN/top rank since. You guys who are anti Haymon just conveniently forget that and and clearly making the case that the article implied regarding Haymon. A Saudi is more acceptable than a foundational black American for elements in the usa and the U.K. that are given to race based nationalism
You know dam well that the difference is the PBC was always and still is the other side of the street and Riyadh is open range to everyone, and that's the distinction. Using 3 big name fighters at the top of the food chain as poor mistreated poster boys for injustice is fu<king laughable!

There are 20 fighters today getting screwed because they are too good or won't sign their life away. If getting everyone that deserves a place at the table means that 3 prima donna's that choose their opponents get left, that's fine. All 3 multimillionaires made the choice they believed would be in THEIR best interest. Canelo and Tank pick their opponents and Turki doesn't want to pay for it. Rose dishonestly used the Ortiz fight to leverage a shot at the belt. Tim wants a belt and that's fine but Rose wasn't honestly negotiating and Turki doesn't want to pay for it or work with Rose. None of this is a secret, these guys are doing what's best for THEM. So what about everyone else not making jack shyt because they're too good or choose not to sign their life away?.

When Al Haymon was paying, you said he was good for boxers. When Eddie Hearn was paying you hammered him, and now someone else is helping fighters make money and give fans competitive fights and he's the bad guy. I could be wrong, but your particular opinion always seems to pivot on how things effects the PBC.

One thing is for absolute certain....the managers, networks, promoters, and sanctioning bodies see Turki Alalshikh as a threat to their corrupt shyty system. Anyone that can't admit that is either delusional or dishonest.

Tris nailed this one, including his poignant observation that when Haymon did the same thing, he was picketed, but this international, not even an American, is a savior. Institutional racism at it's core, a retroactive black eye on boxing no doubt about it.

when people make collective statements like this, my response will always be the same, “and what’s wrong with that?” How is Riyadh Season any different? If one prefers pbc, the perception is that’s somehow a bad thing. While it’s not for Riyadh Season, Top Rank, Dazn, Matchroom, Golden Boy, Queensbury, Boxxer, etc etc. it’s an attempt to shame folk for supporting the largest promotion in the usa. So yeah, I’m glad we have an American promotion like pbc, just as glad as you are for Riyadh Season. Difference is your preferences are of no concern of mine.
