or else Turki is just discovering that some fights are very difficult to put together no matter how much money you throw at it. To me it seems there are other factors at play and other agendas that are preventing the obvious fights (that Turki says he wants) from happening. He has already said he made and offer to Canelo to fight Crawford, made an offer to Crawford to fight Ortiz, made and offer to Zapeda to fight Shakur ... yet none of the fights are happening.

You raise a valid point, but why even put this fight together when he stated that he only wants to pay for the best fights? He could have told Eddie, "this is not the type of fight I said I'd pay for, let's get Shakur a better opponent and if no better opponent is available let's get two other fighters that make for a great fight".

As for making an offer to Canelo to fight Crawford, has he though??? I was under the impression that he hasn't offered anything yet, I thought he wanted to negotiate with Canelo but Canelo told him to wait till after his fight with Berlanga...

You might be right about the offer, but I just haven't found a link that states an actual offer amount was made.

Yes, the mythical story of how everybody is avoiding Boots Ennis is starting to look a bit shaky and not the full truth and nothing but the truth. I really like Boots as a fighter but I think he is lacking on the business side of things. There has to be a reason why somebody who is 33-0 has never fought a top 5 opponent. For all talent and natural ability, he is always crying poor and claiming nobody wants to fight him. Saudi military is trash. All the weapons they’ve bought from the US the last 35 years are operated and serviced by Americans and Pakistanis doing most of the leg work (thousands of “retired” Pakistani military guys running the show).
