"“I love the fact that he’s a hard-hitter and he has a chin. People discredit him for not having a chin."

lol DLH is all over the place. i cant tell if he is trying to stir up **** or just scatter brained from too much drugs. none of that makes sense. everyone knows floyd is not a hard hitter. then the next part also makes no sense, nobody ever anywhere said floyd had a bad chin, even his long term haters havent said that.

he also claimed he would KO mayweather if he was only a year younger. thats funny he never KO'd tito, mosley, quartey, old comacho, old whitaker or journeyman Javier Castillejo but says he would KO prime mayweather when he was 33, sure dude whatever

he is also only 4 years older than mayweather but makes it sound like they were 10 years apart.

Hoya hit the nail on the head in every aspect. Mayweather definitely has a chin based on the shots he took from Mosley and Maidana. As for power it was the speed of his punch.

This interview only made me to go to YouTube to rematch May masterclasses in the ring. May was an epitome of boxing for the purists.

I agree with you on the bolded part!

Oscar was being very genuine and introspective in this interview. He didn't seem bitter about losing to Floyd and he called things for the way they are. He flat out loss to a great fighter in Floyd. I saw that fight a few times and thought they should have called it a draw. Oscar controlled the first half of that fight and Floyd came on later. But that's in the past.

More like they split the first half

                Floyd won rounds 1, 3, 5

                Oscar got rounds 2, 4, 6

Then Floyd swept 7 through 11

My take is Oscar holds a grudge against both Floyd and Manny because they both outshined him and it was a time when Oscar didn't take kindly to being outshined, in my view Oscar was a great fighter aggressive boxer puncher that fought all the top guys, I think May and Pac got him at the right time under conditions that favoured them.
                  I don’t doubt it!

This part I think you are wrong, Floyd does hit hard otherwise they all would just run through him, the fact that everybody who fought him said he hits harder than what appears verify that, up until he was breaking hands he had as high a KO percentage as punchers Manny and JMM etc somewhere around 65% I think it was, as he went up fighting bigger guys his great boxing came into it more and more but he would always crack them with enough power to keep them from over running him, I think the power was there he just wound it back because of his hands but he could always load up on one or two to say come in at your own expense.

Agree with the rest of your comment.

Some backhanded compliments, but it’s quite clear that Oscar begrudgingly believes Floyd was a great fighter. There’s no denying this. I watched a lot of Mayweather’s biggest fights, and it was something to behold. The best ever? I don’t think so. But one of the all time greats, for sure.
