Canelo knows this is the biggest fight to make in the sport, his biggest pay day, and that everyone thinks he's ducking David for years, yet he still ducked him!
Yea, I have, Crawford is terrified of Boots & Teo. Tank is terrified of Shakur or anyone with a belt in HIS weight class.
Benividas is terrified of Morell and Haney, Garcia & Shakur are terrified of Teo.

      3. Benavidez just wants a payday.
      4. What has Benavidez done to earn a fight with Canelo?
      5. Canelo does what he wants. He has earned the right to face who he wants.

      The excuses are ****ing insane.
      1. Canelo might not be “scared” but he sure as hell won’t fight Benevides
      2. so Benevides should kiss Canelo’s a$$ to get a fight he’s earned?
      3. every fighter wants a payday. Dumb point
      4. Benevides has a better resume than any other 168 lb contender. Benevides also brings Canelo more $$$, prestige and legacy than any other 168 lb contender.
      5. okay, Canelo can fight whoever he wants but give up the belts and stop denying quality contenders opportunities they’ve earned in the ring.
      6. people like you are what’s wrong with boxing. You defend a fighter for ducking (no other way to say it) a quality fight that’s in high demand.
      7. why are you Canelo fans so afraid of this fight?

Canelo Alvarez in my opinion is not intimidated or afraid of David Benavdiez 'He just believes that Benavidez is not on his level, and most likely does not deserved to consume much of his focus'..

I have stated this before, in my opinion? David Benavidez is stylistically a fight which is straight up Canelo Alvarez's street 'Anyone who is honest, and understands boxing. They will be aware that at Canelo Alvarez when he is in solid form, is always going to beat fighters like David Benavidez'.

Note: David Benavidez is a solid fighter, he is for sure a World level fighter 'But he is not a elite level fighter in any area of his game. Fighters like Benavidez has existed in all modern boxing era's, agressive and game fighters who are easy to admire, because of their fighting traits. But being agressive, and relying upon being the big man on fight night? Those attributes are sometimes a lot of the time, have not been enough to really become a great fighter within any boxing era'.

The fact remains that in my opinion, David Benavidez has not done enough to force this fight 'There have been great opportunities, in front of the World's boxing and sports media were David Benavidez could sky rocketed this fight, into and out of the stratosphere if he would of just confronted Canelo Alvarez head within physical reality'.

The stage was set during the fight week of Jaime Munguia vs Canelo Alvarez 'Alvarez all week was definitively for sure, amped up and getting involved in hostile confrontations with former great fighters such as Oscar De La Hoya'.

People need to understand is that? Fundamentally fighters like Canelo Alvarez are competitors by instinct 'Most men are instinctually'. If a fighter like Alvarez is put in a situation where that competitive instinct is being pressurized, then he is going to push back and fight back'.

David Benavidez for some reason, has definitively avoided Canelo Alvarez one on one in that sort of situation.

Making comments of social media, or giving interviews through alternative media sources 'None of those methods are fundamentally how men have historically confronted each other'. The old school way, and tactics are still fundamentally the most effective and impactful way to really push a fight and challenge a competitor'.

To conclude: I am almost certain, that if Canelo Alvarez is confronted by David Benavidez 'Within physically reality and is posed a challenge. The competitive instinct of Alvarez will start to kick into fear, they may even have a jostle in that very moment. And from there it would be very difficult for the David Benavidez vs Canelo Alvarez match up to not happen'.

Far too many fighters in this modern era, exist in this zone where 'They think they are pursuing fights, or making challenges. But really they are not? They are just playing around and having banter over social media, or complaining through media outlets'.

There seems to be a entire demographic and mass of people 'Who perceive this behaviour as confrontational. Agressive and competitive'. It is not really seriously competitive behaviour in my opinion.

What is David Benavidez doing now? Why does he not just get on a plane and confront Alvarez? Guys David Benavidez does not want this fight vs Caneloa Alvarez to the level that many people are trying to claim 'And that is precisely where we are at with this situation, between the two fighters' etc.

This ain’t rasslin. Are you suggesting that after a Canelo fight, Benevides, his dad and his brother should come out of nowhere, hit Canelo repeatedly with a “steel chair”, then have David put Canelo in a super duper death lock?

i think i have actually seen fear approaching that level, it was in one of the friday the 13th movies when one of the ladies was screaming her head off being chased about to be killed, that was close but not quite canelo level fear of benny

forget about getting on a plane stuff, he needs to camp outside his house in a tent for at least 3 months, if he doesnt do that then he doesnt deserve the fight, how is canelo supposed to know about him unless he has to take out a restraining order against him?

I do not think Beating David does anything for Canelo at this point. Canelo can make more money fighting Crawford then he would David and I think he would get more praise for beating him than David.

As much as I think it is the fight to make, I do not think it makes sense to team Canelo.

I want to see this fight, and both parties should work it out. The money will be right, and people really want it.
I think it would add to Canelo's legacy, seeing how long Benavidez has been ranked at the top (in a division Canelo moved out of), and it's a big opportunity for Benavidez to show what he's got.

Myself, I view the fight as a way for Benavidez to add his name to those of Baldomir, Rhodes, Cintron, Mosley, Trout, Lara, Kirkland, Cotto, Khan, Smith, Chavez Jr., GGG, Fielding, Jacobs, Kovalev, Smith, Saunders, Plant, Charlo and Munguia........Benavidez shows nothing to suggest that belongs in some higher bucket than that.
Its a nessisary fight, Benavidez deserves it, but it's nothing different than those listed.

"I want to see the fight but let me still list the reasons why Benavidez doesn't deserve it and why he's no better than the worst of Canelo's resume." The ****ery of some of you.

Berlanga is saying that after sitting with Clenelo he has found out Clenelo is putting in the excuses to fight Benavidez.
