Than Canelo is of Benavidez, in the history of the sport? Would be interested in some examples. I can't think of any. We know Bowe dumped the belt to duck Lewis but there was nowhere near as much money and demand for that fight, so I don't think its as bad as this. Canelo knows this is the biggest fight to make in the sport, his biggest pay day, and that everyone thinks he's ducking David for years, yet he still ducked him!

Golota looked pretty terrified against Lewis and Tyson...

Canelo pulled the same sh** with GGG too. He can’t age Benavidez out though, he’ll probably try and drain him back to 168 though.

Meh. Canelo has lost before; first time in a first attempt to break into the elite range against the then P4P best, and 2nd time stepping up two divisions beyond his most natural weight. Both decision losses.

Benavidez is very good, but hardly anything scary.

Face it, you're just looking to see the mighty fall. It's a thing.

Lennox was quite scared of vitali in rematch. Floyd ducked pac 6 years. Yes, bowe threw belt in bin.
They're just as scared as nelo.

There were a lot of fighters who seemed genuinely afraid of Tyson (Spinks, Stewart, etc) but they did agree to a fight and stepped into the ring.

I will probably get some flack for this, but it felt like Stevenson swerved Kovalev pretty hard. HBO was hoping it hard and momentum was Building; it looked like they were on a collision course and next thing you know, Superman is taking his talents to another network.
