No one can save boxing. It’s a renegade in a world
of conformity, a loose woman who can never really love you. It might play along for a while, but it will never settle down, never be anyone’s. And the more Turki tries to force, the looser his grip will become.

Now that Turki is angry, my crystal ball says that Berlanga will decision Canelo in a robbery, and Tszyu will be hit on the same wound by a randomly thrown object.

Money bags has put a lot of great cards together but it's painful to watch promoters and fighters alike p-ussying up to him just because he's loaded. Canelo is right when he says he never asked or was interested in fighting little Bud and I always thought the idea was ludicrous given their massive size difference and the fact that Crawford didn't look much up at 154 .168 is a huge leap up from this and I don't think the likeable but excitable Turki fully understands this.I just witnessed spar last week where a kid at 10st with skills to burn sparred a 12 st 7 lb fighter . first round hardly a glove landed by the big kid , lovely movement by the 10st kid forth round ...struggling, but still enough skill to avoid most everything BUT the size had become evident and he was then in survival mode , not the makings of the competitive fight .Wake up Turki , they have great fights to be made in their own divisions ...weight divisions for fairness and safety !

That is not sitting well with me at all. This and having to sit through the Saudi national anthem even though there are no Saudi boxers fighting. This is all just so crazy.

What you say is true especially about the national anthem but let’s keep in mind, we also bend the knee and invite the PM of Isräèl to come address Congress EVEN when the President is not there.
We are puppets yet we claim to be the world police.

So Turki finding a way to fall out with him and publicly air it out might be a bad sign of things to come.

We all know Canelo is ducking tough opponents. But this guy saying "I'm not the one scared to fight Benavidez" was silly. He's lived an incredibly pampered life of luxury from birth, the idea that he wouldn't be scared to get in the ring under the bright lights is laughable.

Glad he's funded so many good fights, but wondering if his ego is gonna keep growing and he'll become more focal part of the whole thing. Like maybe he'll make himself commentator or insist on rapping as the fighters make their way to the ring.
You said rapping but did you mean wrapping as wrapping body parts like his boss had done to a journalist a few years ago? With some folks, you just never know.

yeah to be fair to tim, he did bring his belt overseas and ended up with an awkward opponent & then had a bad situation which he fought through to the end when he could and probably should have finished another time, thats pretty good going, not sure exactly what is going on now but tim does get some brownie points for this type of stuff im sure

He is just a representative for someone far more powerful behind the scenes.
Yea Turki is probably not a playa in Saudi like everyone thinks. He's probably the nephew of some Saudi Sultan that was a family fuq up and they gave him a fake made up position EMPORER OF FIST'TI CUFFS! He's definitely not important enough to participate in the monthly beheading meetings. Maybe occasionally they allow him to pick the rocks used for the 'stoning of the wives' festival in the town square!

If you can't get Canelo to fight a real opponent what's the point? If Tim Tszyu doesn't want to fight Ortiz or Crawford what's the point? Tim Tszyu is doing his thing and Canelo is cherry picking opponents he can beat.
