Stop it, that fight is never waking up. Canelo isn't fighting anyone unless he knows they're old, shot to shyt or drunk.

He's definitely not important enough to participate in the monthly beheading meetings. Maybe occasionally they allow him to pick the rocks used for the 'stoning of the wives' festival in the town square!
EMPORER OF FIST'TI CUFFS!... Chuckled hard, I'd add watering the camels to the list

Spot on! A small hand full of fighters use their draw/money to cherry pick opponents. Promoters and managers use their money/networks to keep fighters out and important fights in-house and Turki is f*,king up their monopoly.

Thanks for that particularly racist point of view.

Pretty damn sure Canelo's gonna evolve into a bit of a check-writer himself in decades to come so there's that too, in his instance.

Always remember that everything comes at a price, including money. Maybe Saul & Timmy have decided that the price of the Saudi money is too high for them, regardless of how inflated the purses may be right now.
It's not about bending to his will. It's about hearing what thean has to say and trying to find common ground. While Silent Al never picks the phone up and Bob plays the b.s. in-house games, at least Turki is willing to work with any promoter to make cards fans want to see. I commend him for that.

BINGO! Someone is paying attention. Nice to know some folks can still think.

Maybe he just simply lets his management team decide the business part of his career. Who knows, maybe they don't need Alalshikh.
George Rose talked Tim into fighting PBC loyalist Fundora on short notice for the money, period. Tim's corner further f*<k-up and Tim lost his belt. Next Tim agrees to fight Ortiz then drops out for an injury that Tim himself said was not a factor. I don't know who specifically, is directing Tim Tszyu's career, but what I do know is that ONLY fighting on the PBC network is not in Tim's best interest. Tim's team are a bunch of f*<k-ups that seem to be doing what they did with Wilder, pinning him exclusivity to a network with a stable of unreliable fighters and no budget.

I wish Tim luck, better luck then Wilder.... but it's not looking good.

Nobody can't earn that right, they are entertainers getting pay millions by us, I don't care about their antics neither their personal lives, what I do care is to watch the best possible matches, and yes once in a while they can squeeze a no hope in to fill out the schedule or a part-time for easy cash, but when you're holding a major belt or all the belts, and you don't defend those belts against worthy opponents, and go out of your way to do it and declared yourself the king and can do whatever you want, even holding a whole division development, you're a piece of $h1t and thinks that he is bigger than the sport that took him out of poverty. The fans that agree with this behavior are no fans of the sport.

It's $90.00 for a Brelanga fight and as an American fan it's up to you to put that on a charge card and support that show.

As for "American promoters should pick up the slack"? What slack? Eddie and DAZN kiss Canelo's ass for fighting their no hope stable and Tim Tszyu has a shyt promoter that sold him out for a few million and got screwed for a rematch that was never going to happen.
