I think if both of they stay at 175, both of them will pick up an L

When was the last time a Cuban fighter made a huge fight? Never ... That I can remember. I agree about postponing the fight. I think Artur will retire if he beats Bivol. Maybe Bivol will fight Benny but not David imo.

          Casamayor vs Freitas
          Hurtado vs Whitaker
Napoles vs Emile Griffith, monzon, lewis
          Rodriguez vs Griffith
          Kid Paret vs Griffith
And it is not because they're not willing to do it, most of the time like in Gamboa's vs Lopez case, they let it "marinate" for too long.

The scoop from the Artur camp
is once he defeats Bivol , he wants to go up to cruiser weight

The fight needs to marinate? For what? Benny is not a huge PPV draw, he does well at the gate, but not to the point that he can hold some type of financial status over a worthy opponent. I have always believed DM would be DB, maybe even stop him, it seems Benny's camp agrees with me.
Benavidez is a PPV fighter. Morrell is a nobody. You can't duck someone irrelevant who is not even at the front of the line. At the moment that fight has no value for Benavidez, legacy wise or financially. If Benavidez smashes him he gets no credit after Morrells awful performance.

You're not an oracle, neither of them are ppv worthy. He said yes when he had 5 fights and now with 11 and another bs belt he's a nobody. SO what made him wants the fight in 2021 and refuse the fight three years later? He should have being less known back then.

I guess you are unaware Benavidez has main evented 2 ppv cards in Vegas. What has Morrell done other than stink up his last fight?

Amazing how many people remember that JuanMa-Gamboa fight that never happened. It would’ve been electrifying. Lopez’s chin hadn’t been exposed yet, and Yuri was at the height of his powers. You can’t predict the future. Gotta strike while the iron is hot. But I’m with you: Morrell-Benavidez shouldn’t go on just yet. If one takes a sh-it before they finally get scheduled, so be it.

Answer the question, you're not even good a deflecting. If he's so well known and such a money maker, what's the hold up?
