I'd like to see it next, but considering neither looked great last time out, maybe an extra fight at the weight is a good thing. But some felt like Benavidez didn't want to risk his Canelo shot by facing Morrell at 168, and now it looks like he doesn't want to risk his undisputed shot by facing him at 175.

Sampson needs better PR skills. Fans hear the word 'marinate', they think 'duck', it's been that way since Lopez-Gamboa didn't happen. Any promoter is surely aware of that.

I said the same thing here recently. That fight can be huge , one that even regular sports fans will watch if it's allowed to grow. Now isn't the time , especially with no belts at stake and both guys coming off of sub par performances. I usually don't care for marinating a fight but in this case it makes sense.

This fight doesn't even 100 K PPV right now. I would love to see, but not many people know who Morell is.

Hasn't beaten Plant? Hasn't even been on PPV. Hasn't beaten anyone. Al Haymon would be dumb doing this next. I as fan would love it next, but it's always business first.
