I personally think Calzaghe would beat them all.

      Its an excuse.

Prime Joe is open to interpretation. The younger version was closer to a true boxer-puncher than the version most became familiar with in the final three or so years of his career.

Assuming we're discussing the latter (the version that beat Lacy and Kessler)...

The only one I'd give a legit chance of outpointing him would be Dirrell, but it's impossible to plant a flag in his yard considering that he for the moment lacks the credentials to make such a pick. Kessler would be a more tempting pick had they not actually fought, with or without an injured mitt.

I could envision the scenario of Abraham winning by late-round knockout (and most likely come-from-behind). Froch would be a long shot to do the same, though not out of the question.

The only one I could never see beating Joe is Jermain Taylor.

Fighters hurt their hands all the time in fights Calzaghe,Hamed,Benn they all hurt their hands in fights but never blamed loses on them!
Kessler is a warrior he knows in his heart of heart that his hand played no part of his lose to Calzaghe...thats why he didnt bother saying anything after the fight at ringside nor at the postfight presser !
Kessler is a good fighter...but he wouldnt beat calzaghe at anytime

Calzaghe is 37 and hasn't fought in a year. He'd still be a favorite against all of them, but you never know.
