you must not have seen kessler face between rounds after round 5 in the calzaghe fight?

it was the face of a world-class puncher who had no clue how to prevent his face from getting continually punched in...

youre whole "calzagle just slaps" theory ran dry after he out punched a world-class puncher in his prime in kessler...sorry buddy...

and that's why nobody respects him thanks for making my point! he fought a totally shot guy just for money over all the other real challenges he could have took. bottom line he was scared of losing and hopkins made that oh so clear when he escaped with a strange decision win when he got outboxed and couldn't touch his opponent. his legacy is a SD over hopkins where he was totally shut down and a win over kessler. the title defenses is pure **** since almost all of the challengers were not worthy of getting title fights. certainly nothing all time great worthy.

when you picture in your mind calzaghe against an opponent in a hypothetical match-up do you imagine calzaghe coming in windmilling and maybe taking some shots but it does'nt bother him as he has a solid chin?

Hopkins has the perfect style to beat Calzaghe, Because he waits for opening when landing his right hand and you can do that to Joe to put him off his game, You either rough up joe or take him off his game and Hopkins...Bika are some of the perfect example style-wise to do that.

Most of the guys on the list would try to box Joe like Kessler did and thats why i think Joe beat everyone of them in his prime.

as i said, you want to call calzaghe overrated, then you just have quickly have to call pac overrated...only two world-class fighters i can think of who completely disregard defense and beat dudes up with pure punch volume...

and again...what did people want calzaghe to do, fight one more low-paying fight and beat the **** out of dawson? beat kessler again for peanuts?

paul williams-calzaghe is the fight that would have been great, but williams jacked that scenario up when he lost to quintana...

calzaghe beats them all and its a shame he still has a lot of haters because of his unconventional style,although i think the hate has more too do with a past prime joe beating up americas past prime legends

well kessler is a statue in that boxing ring he barely moves. notice how when calzaghe started moving instead of staying right in front of kessler he easily won. none of these guys are that stiff cept maybe froch.

abraham is a master of landing punches between his opponents punches and calzaghe leaves himself wide open when he flurries so we can see how that would end. ward fights somewhat similar to hopkins cept hes not old as dirt so he would have a very good chance.
