It's also worth pointing out that Boots was ringside to support his stablemates Jarrell "Big PEDs" Miller and Andy Cruz, and was nowhere to be seen when it came time to call Bud out to his face. As predicted. Please stop with this guy. He doesn't want the smoke, and he never calls out Bud when Bud is free to make a fight. He's got NO resume at all, and keeps avoiding the big fights.

It’s ironic you say that because Boots was at Crawford’s weigh in just to provoke a confrontation with him.

He stood right in Bud’s path with his arms folded. Bud told him I thought you weren’t coming to the fight but kept it moving.

Hopefully once Bud becomes undisputed at 154 that fight would occur sometime next year.

And yet he doesn't call him out. Doesn't get in the ring. Doesn't even have the guts to call him out for a fight when they're face to face? Why is he radio silence EVERY time Bud wins a fight and has open options? They already turned Bud down multiple times by going IBF, and turning down a fight offer. His opponents have barely more than a 60% win rate. I said before the fight that his record suggested he wasn't going to call Bud out at the fight, if he even showed up. And the only reason he did was that his dad coaches two of the guys fighting. Now, I predict he'll be right back to calling Bud out as soon as Bud is signed for a new fight.

Crawford never really thought of fighting Canelo. He had a lump in his throat when it was first ask by Joe Rogan. He was focused on taking his time, breathing a sigh of relief after having proven he's far above Spence's caliber and he thought that was it for him and he didn't have to prove anything.

But fans just won't leave him alone asking questions about Ennis. But that proved to be a hard question to ignore. He finally found a way to ward off people festering him about Boots. At first he was telling them about his rematch with Spence, but over time Canelo became the perfect excuse. Why, because when he swipes his cell phone he sees people on Youtube obsessed about the Canelo/Crawford fight. That's it, "You can't bother me anymore about Boots, I'm telling you I'm fighting Canelo, so F off."

You know, so-called hardcores are no different from casuals. Just because they saw Bud summarily dismantling Spence they think Canelo would fight the same way Spence did. It's so silly. Likewise, just because they saw Boots demolished Custio Clayton they started acting like he's the best invention since sliced butter. It's a silly sport full of casuals acting like they know sht about boxing.

TBud is competitive but has never came across as a driven fighter

I do not think for a second that an Alvarez match was his idea

Someone who averages one fight per year for the last 4 gets ambitious overnight and wants to jump two weight classes up to take on a p4p

            that’s out of character

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. It was never his idea. He just went along with obsessed people thinking he'll do the same thing he did with Spence.

It looks like Fundora is fighting Spence so WBO is going to strip him and make Crawford the full champion.

Bud will have the WBA and WBO Titles!!

I have already stated what I believe Terrence Crawford should do at this point of his career, in previous posts.

And even after the post fight aftermath of Terrence Crawford vs Israil Madrimov 'My advice still have not moved'.

Terrence Crawford should just focus on trying to become the Undisputed Champion at 154 pounds 'And not really aim to fight any individual fighter, without a Title. It is all about capturing those titles in the 154 pound Division'.

The perception of Crawford before his fight before Israil Madrimov, was that? People were starting to compare him to Floyd Mayweather Junior 'In terms of ability, and threat towards Canelo Alvarez'.

Many years ago, there was a narrative that Canelo Alvarez did not like to fight 'Slick African American fighters. I sensed that the beginning's of this narrative was going to gain traction again'.

Note: But Terrence Crawford's performance vs Israil Madrimov was not super great 'Even though Madrimov was stylistically, clearly a fighter who would of been a fighter that Floyd Mayweather Junior at his peak or even just outside would of completely dominated. Straight up and down fundamentally sound, no special effects type of fighters were always the type of fighters that were straight up Floyd Mayweather Junior's street'.

I have always personally rated Terrence Crawford as a solid level below Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao 'Even fighters such as Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley and Oscar De La Hoya are fighters who at their absolute peak? People would back to beat Terrence Crawford'.

Terrence Crawford is a great fighter, one of the greatest fighters of his generation and era 'But he is fortunate enough to have been competing only in this era'.

The versions of Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley who Canelo Alvarez fought 'Would of most likely beaten every single fighter in the resume of Terrence Crawford to date, if they were matched against those opponent's on the fights nights that Terrence Crawford fought them'.

To conclude: So it is clear that Terrence Crawford is not on the level of some of those past great fighters 'But he can still alter the perception of the boxing community, on a fight by fight basis'. Once and if Crawford can become's the Undisputed Champion at 154 pounds, and remains undefeated 'Those are easy attributes and very marketable traits as a fighter'.

I honestly think every fight Crawford has from this point, should be a title fight 'And if he keeps winning, watch how the perception of his ambition to fight Canelo Alvarez will become more accepted as a legitimate fight. Right now Terrence Crawford is not really perceived as a legitimate fight or threat towards Canelo Alvarez, and rightly so'.

I have always believe that Canelo Alvarez would beat Terrence Crawford 'Alvarez's resume is way more impressive than Crawford's, in terms of the experience he has at World and Elite level. Against multiple fighters that many people would back to beat Terrence Crawford'.

Weather Canelo Alvarez has been winning all of those fights, is to a certain extent irrelevant 'Because many of those fighters have been far superior to the large majority of fighters on Terrence Crawford's resume'.

All of that experience and competition, has supported and boasted Canelo Alvarez's longevity in the game 'Alvarez knows that all of these fighters around today, his nearest competition skill for skill are not on the level of many fighters that he has fought in the past'.

Skill for skill I don't think Terrence Crawford is bothering or intimidating Canelo Alvarez to the same level as Floyd Mayweather Junior 'As a competitor Canelo Alvarez does not seem to view Crawford as that level of threat' etc..

PBC needs to do the Crawford vs Jermell Charlo NOW. You hear me Espinoza? That's what Crawford always wanted. And as mentioned by another poster, it's not far-fetched as Jermell was supposed to be rightful owner of the Madrimov fight. Jermell will take TC.

He should fight Canelo Alvarez next. If not, then he should fight Sebastian Fundora or the winner of Fundora/Spence next for both the WBO and WBC titles.
