GGG was avoided for years by Canelo, Jacobs and Kid Chocolate.

Darned site won't allow me to post the video.
The real issue is the perception that because they moved up they were smaller... Especially with Hagler.

The other dude didn't pay up & changed his Name Lol
Spence performance wasn't no suprise I knew Crawford speed & power would hurt him
Great call, brother! Once again, I made the cardinal mistake of not following my initial instinct. Not taking anything from Bud, but I think those accidents affected Spence.

Yes, but Leonard was given the W, so Hagler's "size" advantage is moot. I remember that fight. I'm from Maryland too, but Leonard's W was bogus to me. That shoeshine crap he did in the final 30 seconds of each round should not have gotten him the decision.

Ya I like making speculative bets. They pay off the best and if you chose em right they hit quite often. Ortiz is a winner you’ll see. Make some money off my tip it’s free advice kid

He took the step aside money to allow Cotto vs Canelo to happen. He got played. I blame GGG and his weak management for his lackluster career. When he could finally call the shots, he fought the weakest competition he could find. Hard to tell how he would do against the greats who actually challenged themselves.

The only thing I hold against GGG is running his mouth at Ward, then never even attempting to move up to 168.

I never look at judges as the final arbitrator for who won a fight. I am willing to say some fights, like this one, are not robberies, but truly a case can be made for either guy. My inclination is towards Hagler winning for what it is worth. I also think this fight should be compared to the Floyd Pacman fight...which would be the "Bizzaro" version.

In one fight you had two great fighters put it on the line... slug it out, take chances, and pretty much leave it in the ring with a great effort... In the other fight we had a sparring match, no fighter took any real risks, and people then took this material and decided someone "won" that fight. In either case, there was no domination, no sense that one guy was on another level.

Lol, I spent man years in Baltimore! Still have family there.

LA... How can you bet on boxing? The judges s c r e w you! I stopped after the first Holly Lewis fight, where because of idiot Byrd the female judge I was robbed... I usually pick fights well and then some s t u p i d decision happens. I don't know how you can trust any bet with the judges being such idiots.
