Yeah the gunshots at night. I remember when we lived in Charles village a couple of the p r ostitut es that were around got murdered. They never bothered anybody. They were trans guys out of jail lol. They never carried much money either at least didn't look like it so there was no reason to do that.

I can never fall to fighter for retiring but there are times definitely would like to see a few more fights. Hagler might have been interesting to watch a few more years for sure.

When we left after we lived there a few years with the family we went right back to San Francisco talk about jumping from the frying pan into the fire lol.

What?? I live in the bay area now. The crime in Bmore makes SF look like Disneyland.

B'more is more dangerous, but the nuisance thing, car breaks, etc... I also taught in Hunter's Point which was pretty bad. But last go around we lived in the outer Richmond so we were away from it all... I spent most of my life living in the Western Addition/haight/lower haight at various times. WE actually owned a place on Hayes Street for many years.

Both places people drive crazy lol. I have seen some shiat in B'more I could not believe though...

The Haight district? You all were living large! Sounds like you've been around both ends of the spectrum. I've been more around the low and middle.

At the time (nineties) the Haight was affordable. We did own an Edwardian on Hayes Street in the Western Addition... I worked many years i real estate and managed to get the place for a great price... But we were never techy rich lol.

Bob Arum is great at moving a prospect along but Top Rank also has a history of low balling fighters over the long run and tend not see the value in retaining a star once they reach a certain point. Crawford like Floyd and Oscar left Top Rank for the same reasons. Top Rank also can't seem to market PPV's well despite having a distribution agreement with ESPN. In the end, Terrence Crawford made significantly more money in 4 fights then he did in 15 fights with Arum.
