  • Comments Thread For: Isaac Cruz considering Jose Valenzuela rematch after losing date with Gervonta Davis

Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz is licking the wounds of the narrow loss that cost him his title by taking his family to a Southern California theme park on Tuesday, mulling how he lost to Jose "Rayo" Valenzuela, and resolving how to revive his magnetic persona immediately.

Pitbulls lacks skills. Can't cut he ring and couldn't get in the inside. His footwork is awful. He does have power and a chin, but he needs more than that vs the elite. Too bad he won't change his style. Too old and same trainer.

That 140 keeps changing champions. Good.
Devin, Rolly, Pitbull, Matias have lost recently.

I need to watch this fight but it seems like El Rayo learned something from his defeat to De Los Santos. I remember El Rayo being an exciting fighter who was using his face for defense.

Cruz can come back but the first thing he needs to do is go back down to 135.

If there is a rematch, it will be the same outcome. Cruz only fights one way and Valenzuela has kryptonite for that style.

I'm glad that eye sore lost. Happy for El Rayo, fight wasn't close.

So Barroso is just never going to get his shot, huh?

Some how they will work it in that it is unfinished business against Tank and do the fight anyway.

It's about time we stopped pretending this guy is a top fighter just because he managed to not get knocked out vs Tank.

Can't see the Tank fight happening now. I know Tank does not pick the most challenging opponents, but he has already fought Cruz once and now after Cruz got dominated ... it would not be a good look for Tank.
