Remember Brook had just had his face (along with his career) disfigured by GGG just 8 months prior. If Spence had fought Brook prior to that Spence would have lost. And I love how you can call a list of current or former World Champions "nobodies" as you're scrubbing toilets at your 9-5. The levels of toxic ignorance in this comment section never cease to amaze me.
      Lol

Danny and Ugas rocked Spence so strong, and they are not Big punchers.

Ugas is a bum, C class fighter and Danny in 147 was not the same that in 140 Pounds.

Stop, Spence was a zombie and he is not a Legendary fighter and his resume is not amazing, and he was not in his prime, the accidente was atrocious

Money wise, I'd like to see Bud get paid really well against Canelo but after last night's fight, we all had a reality check! No way Bud beat Canelo. Also a big chance Canelo KO him. Crawford had an illustrious career! Why not leave on top! one of the best boxers of the generation!

From all the comments on here, I think people are still missing the point. Exposed not exposed, blah blah, no Crawford wasn't exposed, What Crawford showed us last night is he's a guy who's been hyped up by the media and fans without any merit. Yes Crawford is a good fighter, he was never a great fighter, But you have guys like Bread and Bradley amongst others that hype this guy up and ignorant fans eat it up, I mean these guys actually thinking that Crawford can jump all the way to 168 and beat Canelo? When it's said out loud what's unbelievable that people actually buy that crap, there's weight divisions for a reason and Canelo would beat Crawford to a pulp.

Crawford is good not great, besides beating a handicapped Spence, this guy has never beaten anyone of relevance, his undisputed run was brought on by beating a bunch of paper champions who were not relevant before and after Crawford, besides Postol, all the other guys lost immediately after Crawford and went on into the sunset, actually that might of been the easiest path to undisputed in boxing history. Someone on here made the comment about Crawford K.O guys recently, but who exactly were those guys? Any boxer can look good against inferior competition, and I will say a lot of guys nowadays have fought inferior competition including Canelo, the biggest difference is that despite that inferior competition, Canelo has taken on serious challenges but Canelo has also ducked guys like Benavides which is B.S but at least he's taken risk before, unlike Crawford, who has ducked many in his career, when Pacquiao was around and people were saying that he was ducking Crawford, that was the furthest from the truth, Crawford priced himself out because he never really wanted it, he made outrageous demands and then claim Pac was dodging him. And at WW, he moved up and waited until all the other guys beat each other up before he even considered taking them on and continued this pricing myself out so the public can continue this narrative that he's being ducked. Then came Boots, who Crawford decided to run north to avoid him to go fight a guy with 10 fights who had fought limited Comp that he thought would be easy work because the media and fans have blown so much smoke up his a** that he actually thinks he's that good.

The era that Crawford has fought in is not his fault, what is his fault that he has and will always continue taking the easiest route and as long as fans and the media continue to praise him instead of telling the truth and forcing him to take on challenges, nothing will ever change, and that goes for all fighters in this era who get merit without cause...

Not action packed but good competitive fight against a high quality opponent. Being a casual and not knowing who fighters are doesn't mean they aren't good. This was a close fight though, I wouldn't argue if anyone had Madirmov up slightly.

Yeah I was thinking this. If anything Crawford just secured his shot at Canelo, fight more likely to happen now.

Being a close should have gone to Madrimov why does the challenger get the nod

To say that it was a showcase for a Canelo 'fight' ....it failed miserably. The little man needs to stick to his lane , that's obvious.Canelo needs to fight Benevidez or retire!
