Well, um, prior to Bud picking his name out of a hat, when was the last time anyone mentioned Maddy ?
How high do you you see his ceiling being ?

TBF, I'm glad he lost. NSB would break with all the ''Maddy is an ATG'' nonsense.

Unless, of course, you agree with D ?

      • Madrimov had too win the first three rounds to force Crawford to attack and take risks, i had it a draw, i think a rematch would be a much better fight.

He was in pure counter punching mode. Crawford was able to unloaded several beautiful combination sets of punches on him .
Finally someone making some sense on this forum. I can't believe the rubbish I am reading from other posters about how good Madrimov was and how he was landing hard shots and Crawford was doing nothing. Madrimov was a twiching bunny hopping around the ring landing single right hands. The fight was close until round 10 when Crawford stepped on the gas and started fighting him (instead of juts boxing) by landing combinations and being more aggressive. I cannot believe anyone thought Madrimov won any of the last 3 rounds.

Bud is taller by an 1'' and has a 4'' reach ''advantage''

Nelo is not as easy to hit as one might think.
Bud will definitely reconsider his strategy once he gets hit .
            Won't just unload recklessly.

            • Madrimov was robbed, period. Like eddie hearn said, it was a complete waste of time.

Are you related to Madrimov? Perhaps from the same country. Only a blind Freddy would call this a robbery. Sure, tough competitive fight but the right guy won.

I don't think he's a great fighter at all for that very reason. His top 5 wins in the past decade or so are Khan, Brook, Porter, Spence, and going life and death with a slightly bigger (talented yet untested) guy with 11 fights. Meanwhile, there's article after article full of Crawford is an ATG, future Hall of Famer ass-kissery with a resume like THAT? That would be like if guys claimed Broner was a future Hall of Famer after he beat Malignaggi.

I guess some guys here are clearly more enamored with Crawford impressively beating shot, mediocre, or damaged goods-type opposition than I am.

More stationary, but still a more calculated counter-puncher than Madrimov and that alone would **** Crawford’s whole game plan up.

                    • For a fighter with only 10 pro fights he made Crawford look bad!
