Re-watched the fight this morning, and I'm not saying the right guy didn't win, but the FIX was IN
Rounds 1-3
Only 1 judge (Weisfeld) gave Madrimov the 3rd round. That's 1 out of 9 slots. No one gave Madrimov the 1st round despite landing more. Judges Villarreal & Roussell did what Weisfeld did for Canelo-Bivol and gave the A side the first 3 rounds

Rounds 4-5
Villarreal & Roussell made it obvious giving Bud all 3 first rounds, so they both gave the 4th to Madrimov when Bud won that round (Weisfeld got it right). All 3 got the 5th right and gave it to Madrimov

Rounds 6-8
Madrimov won all 3 of these rounds, but only got credit for 2 on 2 scorecards, and 1 on the 3rd

Rounds 9-10
Bud won round 9 and seemed to edge 10 (swing round). Villarreal gave both to Bud, Roussell gave both to Madrimov, and Weisfeld split them

Rounds 11-12
All 3 judges scored for Bud

Bud was never in any real danger of losing this fight by decision. For a fight THIS neck-and-neck, Bud was only DOWN on 1 SCORECARD for only 1 ROUND. That's CRAZY. According to the cards, at NO point was Madrimov ever winning the fight. The judges kept close so that in case Bud couldn't KO him, he'd still be in the clear

Bud ought to give Madrimov the rematch Mayweather-style, but time is not on his side, and he can't risk losing the chance to get Fundora's titles

It wasn't that close. Madrimov never hurt Bud and landed a few good shots. Alot of his rights were blocked by Bud's gloves.

I watched round by round live scoring on two other sites. All the guys keeping score had it 116-112 Bud, and that was with a few rounds given to Madrimov that were really close.

It wasn't that close. Madrimov never hurt Bud and landed a few good shots. Alot of his rights were blocked by Bud's gloves.

You aren't scoring it right.

Firstly, don't ever trust anything but your own eyes when scoring a fight

Secondly, you'd have to inquire about what the scoring criteria was and who for starters lol

It was a very competitive fight, extremely difficult to score at a first glance. If you get a chance, re-watch it on mute with a pen and pad

It was a terrible fight , boring as hell , either one of them would have been destroyed by the top guys in the division last night. Madrimov was making me dizzy , hopping around like a rabbit on crystal meth while doing an impersonation of an epileptic ******* off with his hands. I hope that I never see him "fight" again. Crawford for the most part looked old and couldn't figure out how to hit the Jumping Jack so he just kept his hands at home. Number one P4P , my ass. They both deserved to lose. What a waste of The Big Stage.
Crawford has no business in the ring with Canelo. Berlanga would have beaten him last night. He's 37 and undersized. Now looks like a great time to hang the gloves up.

No one would look good against Madrimov.

I’ve been telling ya’ll, Crawford is a great fighter but the Spence performance was so phenomenal people would be measuring him to a different standard. I didn’t expect him to win by stoppage. First fight at 154 against an extremely seasoned amateur with an awkward style to boot. Win today, look good tomorrow.

That is how I saw the fight as well. Competitive but not that close like most people would like to make it. 8 round to 4 is a fair score with the benefits of close rounds going to Madrimov.

That's not true my friend. I think Bud is top ten pound for pound. Just not as great as some of the hype .And I don't post negatively about Bud.Maybe I criticized him but that's all.You truthfully sound a little sensitive about Crawford criticism.
