Bud won the last 2 rounds and that's why he won imo. Up until the 11th, I had it a draw

If you gave Madrimov the last two rounds, I think a drug test is in order.
You must be living in a Pizarro (Superman comics reference) world.Comment

If you ever seen Madrimov fight, you'd know that he can fight, and that he didn't make Bud look bad. Bud looked good. Madrimov looked good. This was a good fight!
Madrimov will give most of his top competitors a run for their money, if not beat them.Comment

I wasn’t being sarcastic. It’s a effed up comment to make, but D isn’t wrong, though. When Mannix and Porter were doing lost fight analysis wondering if Crawford was going to run it back, Mannix was right when he stated, “There is a 0.0% chance they do a rematch.”
The fight wouldn’t do big business and Crawford got what he wanted. Madrimov is the kind of guy you don’t fight twice when you have limited time and you’re going for the bag. I don’t blame Crawford, I wouldn’t rematch Madrimov either.
The comment D made was spot-on. I wasn’t laughing at incredulousness. I laughed because in a ****ed up way, it’s true. Madrimov is talented but he isn’t getting a lot of big paydays because he’s huge risk/low reward.Last edited by TintaBoricua; 08-04-2024, 11:14 AM.Comment

I see where you're coming from, but this has been my only account on this site since 2014. Never made a replacement or an alt. If I bet my account, trust me when I say that I'm gone. That's not to say that I don't partake in the $$$ bets lolComment

At least we can both agree with the fight needing to be run back. Remember my friend,Crawford isn't a spring chicken. He's turning 37 next month, and at that age, everything starts slowing down. The fact that madrimov was able to land the straight right consistently and repeatedly on Crawford should tell you something. Madrimov is 29. He will improve, and he will be back. Who knows, the kid might pick up another belt at 154 and Crawford might have to meet him again if he wants all the straps.Comment

Those lead right hands were the most troubling and disturbing of them all against Crawford. Why he didn’t resort back to orthodox after getting nailed repeatedly by that punch I will never understand?

I guess Bud must have felt that the benefits far outweighed the risks by fighting southpaw. At the same time had Crawford fought orthodox and Madrimov was still able to land those rights after flicking his jabs behind them then he could have been in some real serious trouble.
While he was effective in neutralizing Madrimov’s Jab from that stance; However, he still ate too many of those right hands as a result of itLast edited by champion4ever; 08-04-2024, 01:49 PM.Comment
