To your point, more specifically, pure boxers typically struggle with swarmers, high volume punchers, and yes, awkward/unorthodox

thought he adjusted as good as anyone, especially with a guy that big

He acheived that but he never hurt Bud and Bud outlanded and outboxed him regardless. And I said before the fight, Madrimov is a damn good fighter with an extensive amateur career, his pro record is deceiving. And Crawford was out of the ring for a year due to the Spence nonsense, he wasn't as sharp as he could have been.

Of course Bud's detractors will use this as fuel. But Bud will look better against Canelo than he did tonight. Canelo has one mode, and Bud has height and reach on him and will outbox him if the fight is made.

        Whoa, nelly

I agreed with everything you said until Canelo

Canelo's way too big and strong for Bud at 168. Bud's punches would have less effect than they had on Madrimov, and Canelo's power shots would hurt Bud

Outlanded and outboxed him? Crawford was eating right hands that whole night, and never figured madrimov out. Landed 22% to madrimovs 31%. Oh and fun fact, madrimov landed at a higher percent than Crawford in 11 out of the 12 rounds of the fight. Canelo splatters Crawford inside of 6 rounds. Crawford needs to run this back, because in no world was this a clear win for him.

my bad. after "ever again" I should have put "in America"...sorry!

The good news is that this really should kill the idiocy of Canelo-Crawford.

The next question is, was this result good enough support to push him up on the P4P? Hmmm...

You need to buy better glasses / spectacles. Crawford dominated 11th and 12th.

madrimov was eating body shots all night and got uppercutted multiple times. The last 2 rounds was his moment to shine and take it to crawford, and he failed.
