Maybe ...just maybe Morrell's fan boys will slow down with the hype.

David Morrell Jr. very talented but the language barrier in the corner is a problem, because he didn't follow non of the orders given out by Randy Shields so I would hope for him to get to the highest level he needs to make some adjustments, until then stop calling people out!

While I won't say I was wrong about Morrell (there's circumstances involved), I will admit I was perhaps a bit too caught up in the hype. However, I knew Hot Rod was no joke and made it known. I wanted but knew Morrell wouldn't steamroll him. Anyway, he won, but it was MUCH closer than you think, and honestly I think Kalajdzic edged it. Morrell is still a very talented fighter but he is clearly accustomed to fighting four round fights against the usual suspects. He ran into a semi-killer tonight and it showed. Let this be a learning lesson for him.

When you fight peoole and hi can actually fight back you do t always walk all over your opponents….and since when is a comfortable unanimous decision against a world title challenger in a new weight class a bad thing?

Morrell's defense is mediocre and that's going to haunt him. His lowering his gloves to his waist is going to cost him. Benavidez and Canelo beat him, no doubt.

After this fight, I wonder if Canelo would actually entertain fighting Morrell, because I think he looked just bad enough but still "won" so by beating him Canelo can win a belt at 175 without having to face Beterbiev/Bivol.

Morrell looked very mediocre. No boxing ability from the outside, just lunging with hooks and was getting countered often. His best work was in the pocket on the ropes, but he lacked body work. Hype train derailed. Benavidez should not be wasting his time even talking about Morrell. He has bigger fish to fry.

Horrid scorecards despite the right guy winning. Morrell will not beat Benevidez or Canelo let alone Bivol or Beterbiev.

Berlanga is better than this guy with 2 L in his record before this fight.

                      Stop man

Morrrell Best win is against a guy that was not in the top-30

This poland guy was his Best rival and he barely was top15-3
