Comments Thread For: Martin Bakole on Jared Anderson: 'As soon as I open up, I don't think he'll stand up'

Martin Bakole believes the key to victory over Jared Anderson lies in forcing him back. The heavyweights fight on Saturday at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, on the undercard of Israil Madrimov-Terence Crawford.

Great test for Anderson. Really could go either way.

We will know if Anderson is for real after this fight. I'm honestly surprised that either guy took this fight but more so Bakole with his #1 Ranking.

According to Bakole, they always chose easy opponents for Anderson.

This from someone whose best wins are Tony Yoka and the worst version ever of Carlos Takam.

He might not win but I bet he exposes Anderson for what he is ; an overhyped American heavyweight

One of the most interesting fights on the card IMO. We gonna get some answers about both guys. Bakole is a big step up in competition for Anderson, who gets hit clean way too much for my tastes. I'm picking Bakole, but feel it's a coin toss at this point, since Bakole doesn't have the highest level resume either, and Anderson does have skills and power that aren't common at heavy. Someone is getting exposed for sure here, and that's a fun fight.

Hard to get excited about Anderson, simply knowing he'll just fuck everything up with something involving the law afterwards.
