Oh, sure. If Canelo chose to fight Scull, that would definitely silence his critics

funny how the writer is quick to point out Usyk and Bud being stripped, but fails to mention that both fighters had agreed to immediate rematches in violation of a well known IBF rule, knowing full well that they would be stripped.

They let Ginger live for a minute with that belt. I agree with the writer regarding Crawford and Usyk being stripped way quicker than Canelo oil. Rules don’t apply all around sometimes.

Probably the only consolation prize the boxing worlds gets in the Canelo cherry picking gone wild fiasco.

More power to the IBF for not being like the others who seem to facilitate his career. Canelo is now downgraded to a unified champ lol

To me there's really no difference between Berlanga and Scull. Canelo may as well have just fought Scull if Berlanga is the best he can come up with. Either way, it's sad that the WBC and WBA actually had good mandatory challengers in Benavidez and Morrell but decided to bait them to 175 instead of actually making Canelo fight them. The IBF is actually enforcing its mandatory, which is good, but Scull is a bogus challenger so they suck too.

The whole situation just sucks across the board. Scull vs Shiskin is a lame title fight, but the champ isn't taking on legitimate challengers anyway.

One down and three to go. If dude wants to run around ripping off the fans by fighting the next tier down in a circus over and over instead of giving us the only two fights we care to see him in (Benavidez and Morrell) then he can do it beltless.
